Works for us - no more screaming!
We never used to have an issue with hair washing, my son was always fairly stoical and a normal jug of water being splooshed over his head but as his little sister got older she started to have an issue with it and now she is 3 she screams the minute she sees the hair washing jug. My son (now 6) has picked up on this (hard not to lol) and now he makes a fuss everytime water goes near his eyes too. I was beginning to dread bathtime and remembered seeing this product somewhere and thought it had to be worth a try. I was a bit shocked at how much it was but bit the bullet and so glad I did.My daughter was very excited about her "magic jug" and our hopes were high. There is a picture on the side of a little boy with his head tipped back and the jug on and both kids cooperated well after seeing this. They trust pictures on boxes more than me. I find it best not to fill the jug too full or it spills over but I didn't have to press the seal very hard on their head at all and the water obligingly went everywhere except their faces. Magic! We are so pleased to have happy bathtimes back. Well worth the money for that.

great for kids 3+
I ordered this shampoo rinse cup from Amazon as I visited my friend recently and saw it in her bathroom, she has two boys just a few weeks younger than my 19 month old. It arrived on time and looks great, although on the picture it appears blue and yellow, actually the rubber trim is more of a green colour. It works a treat for my 5 year old as she understands to tip her head back for me to place the rubber seal on her hairline before pouring the water. But I think from my experience its not the best for a young toddler as mine natuarally doesn't keep still! However, I am pleased with it, it holds a lot of water and feels sturdy, and its big enough to keep the kids shampoo bottles in. All in all for the price its a decent rinse cup!

Will work with the right child!
Shampoo Rinse Cup This cup is quite good although I think you need a very disciplined child in order to get it to work. My daughter is boisterous and doesn't like having her beautiful mane washed! You are supposed to fill the top part of the cup then press down on your bubba's head and the water rinses her head whilst any run away water collects in the bottom part. The cup DOES do this IF you child has been tranquilised or is just less wiggly than mine.I have managed the correct use of the cup once or twice but in general spend bath time trying to stop my daughter drinking out of it or using it to chuck water at her hoping some lands on her head!

Makes hair washing a whole lot easier for me!
My little one used to hate washing his hair! Crying - Trying to run away - Shampoo in eyes - Total nightmare! But after buying this little cup he seemed to be excited about using it during bath time. He would sit there and tilt his head back letting me wash the shampoo off his hair. I no longer have to use this as he is now happy to let me use the shower head directly but I feel this definitely helped him get over his little issue with washing his hair out!

Excellent buy!
I was really pleased with this after reading mixed reviews. My eldest girl is 20 months and the only problem I have now is getting her to tip her head back, however the way it's designed with the 2 water canals means it spreads the water better for rinsing and still makes the process quicker. Works brilliantly for me, as I explained above and I have always had very long hair. Also works well for my 7 month old, I wish i'd bought it sooner.

shampoo rinse cup
I like this as it helps me to wash my sons hair. It took some time to build up using it so that my son would not get so upset when i wash his hair. It is still not perfect or always tear free hair washing, but it is much better than it was. I would definitely recommend giving this a go if your toddler also gets really upset when washing their hair.

Gets a lot of use
The only issue I have with this is I store it so that all the water runs out and it stays dry but mildew or something has started forming on all the yellow plastic parts and I've tried everything to get it off and it won't budge. Other than that it works really well and my son really enjoys using it himself and letting me pour the water over him with it as well.

Shampoo rinse cup - a bit disappointing
This has not been the solution to our hair washing problems I had hoped for. Whilst keeping water away from the face, it rinses the hair at both sides but not down the middle at the back. The result is that we have to the revert to the typical way of rinsing with the jug, which means some water on the face. Our daughter still dislikes having her hair washed. It is a decent jug with a good handle, though, so we still use it. And, on occasion, she has decided to have a go with it herself and try to do her own hair ( she's 5), so that is progress.
