We installed a significantly large white quartz counter top. Since I do a lot of food prep, a cutting board was essential and with the new quartz top it needed to look special. It did. It stands out over the white quartz and is easy to clean. It is heavy and didn't slide around. But after a few weeks it seemed to bow a just a little causing it to slip and slide if you are not careful. Then I noticed a crack running through the center. The crack did not penetrate through the thick board but has been lengthening. That's why the 4 stars.. Despite those two concerns I will not return it. It's still a beautiful and practical cutting board. Sometimes wood with do it's own thing.

Love love love this board. Great thickness and weight. Most importantly, this board is so spacious and that is something that is very important to me when preparing food. The surface of the board is so smooth, unlike a cutting board that I tried from a different seller. After applying coconut oil to the board, the colors look fantastic.Additionally, when I received this board, there was a minor crack that ran down the side of it. After reaching out to the Kooq shop company via email, Lionel Berlanga (Owner/CEO) directly contacted me within 24 hours (on a Sunday) to apologize for the inconvenience and issued a replacement board with no questions asked besides confirmation of my address to send the replacement to. I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of customer service that the CEO himself displays towards his customers. I am a customer for life and a strong supporter of the Kooq shop brand!

I used to cook a lot years ago, but lately I’ve been cooking less and doing more apartment entertaining – so like meat, cheeses, pizza, finger foods, etc. I have a cutting board made out of BPA-free plastic that I really like….that is until I started using this sucker. It’s a beautiful, heavy, super durable board. It’s plays many roles too – cutting board, measuring board, chopping/butcher block, presentation board/platter – so so so good with a seriously stunning finish.One side is a cutting board with a divot border that helps collect meat juices or crumbs and the other side is a nice flat board perfect to double as a presentation platter for cheese, meats or whatever. It’s a pricey board, but it’s gonna last forever so it’s worth every penny.

I have been using this for a couple days now and have to say that it is one of the best cutting boards that I have ever used. Before even using it I took a few pics of the packaging as I was impressed. Would make a perfect gift. It is very thick, sturdy and beautiful. It has an indentation on the sides of it that acts like a handle so it is easy to lift. Great size too. Large enough to prepare big meals while cutting over a comfortable area.

This is exactly what I was hoping for! Very large and durable. When you spend a lot of money and time smoking your meat, this is what you want while carving out up fit the loved ones in your life! Recommended and would definitely buy again.

Recently received this cutting and serving board and I was very pleasantly surprised with it. It is beautiful and certainly very sturdy (aka heavy) and well made. Also, a great board to display your meals or snacks on. I recommend this to anyone looking for a great board, for the foodie in your life, or for that hard to shop for person. They will love it as much as I do.

Classy board good for the heavy work as well as food presentation. I found it to be heavy enough no to slide all over the counter while I am cutting beef, have washed it several times and it's holding up very well.
