Ruby works way better than stainless steel!!
I purchased from a different source, so won't be confirmed purchase. Purchased 15 of these to replace some .012" stainless steel high pressure nozzles that had a few seasons use, but not a lot of hours. I live in the high desert and the misting system has the nozzles about 14 feet high on our back deck. The old SS version didn't get a lot of use as they made the deck wet after a few minutes, mist particle size was too large and they wouldn't evaporate completely. I talked to the dealer about using a smaller nozzle size, .006" or .008" and he said the mist would be much finer with the ruby nozzles and recommended I stay with the .012" size. He was right on all counts. The mist size is much finer and more consistent too.I designed a tool to remove and replace the old nozzles without needing a ladder, the tool guides the nozzle into place and screws it in or removes it - nice for prepping for winter. Had to modify the tool to accept the longer nozzle size but otherwise it installs them just fine. I'm tickled, good product - hope they last as expected.
