I don't know how other people are tying the tinsel in the hair, but if you go to youtube they have a triple knot technique that works great. Unless you pull the hair out of your head, the tinsel isn't going to come off. I have blond hair so the champagne is perfect for me, not to brassy. I am doing it on myself so I need some practice. It is very easy to do on someone else. I wore them today out and with just 2 strands in I received compliments. I have washed my hair once and they stayed put. I have curly hair, so I was able to curl the tinsel a bit so it matched my hair. I have a girls trip to Vegas and these will be so much fun.

This is great hair accessory, it was used to add hints of shimmer to any style and stays in hair with a little knot and some hair glue. You are able to curl it or straighten it and wash it. It can be used for a week if your not too rough in it! My girls love it!

I love wearing these. They are durable and the color looks great with my hair color. I have trouble securing them tightly enough so they stay put.

Love...Love....Love I wore these on my birthday. .. Now I have no idea how you tie this into you hair... I watched the YouTube videos but I just couldn't figure it out...Soooooo since I wear a wig I just decided to sew them to my wig and BAM ... Miss sparkle was in the building... They actually stayed in a really long time i shoe them about 2 weeks until i just decided to take them out. .. I will definitely buy these again when I need a little sparkle in my life!!

Very cute accessory to put in your hair, although, it comes out of your hair easily! I wouldn't repurchase this item.

ya they're cute, but they dont stay in at all, i've tried with numerous pieces using different amounts of hair each time, tried the knot they recommend as well as other, used it on dry hair and wet hair, washed hair, unconditioned hair, but regardless the second you brush them they fall down the strand. i've tied them as tight as they can go, even to the point of ripping one half off but they dont stay in the hair at all. complete waste of money and time.

They don't stay in when installing them according to directions on the package but as described, including the quantity. I was able to curl them in my hair.
