Have cut it to size and it fits better now. Should be okay if you are of average/bigger size. It is very comfortable. **Q: are there different sizes** A: The size is adjustable to a degree. I Probably have an average size neck for a woman and use it at its snuggest which is fine for me. **Q: What Material is thos made of ? Foam, cotton? And can it be machine washed?** A: The soft neck collar has a foam inner with a cotton cover. I wash the collar on 30 degree wash on the quick cycle , but please be aware that you will need to pull into shape !
