Organic death dealers
Although my vegetable garden is as organic as possible I am always sceptical about organic methods of pest control. However, these slug pellets have really worked well for me and have significantly reduced the amount of both slugs and snails around the raised beds.Previous to using these the lettuce, cabbage and kale was getting hammered but now it is all free from slug / snail predation. The only downside is that these pellets don't seem to last as long as the non-organic equivalent so need to be applied in troubled areas every few weeks. As promised the slugs just seem to disappear and crawl away to enter the reincarnation cycle. Snails seem less reluctant to crawl away but always seem to remove themselves from the veg beds before expiring and there is no noticeable smell from them.I would definitely recommend these pellets to anyone who wants effective pest control but is worried about using unnecessary chemicals near their crops. This is a good value way to protect crops from slugs and snails.

Easy to use
This product is easy to use. They have changed the design of the container which means the granules no longer leak everywhere. In terms of efficacy, I don’t know for sure. I guess it depends on placing the granules at the right spot in the first place. In some places, I have seen the amount of slug trails dramatically reduce, which I assume means the product worked. In other places, not much difference, perhaps the granules not being put at the right spot.I still buy it year after year, at least it has a placebo effect for the user :)

Amazing !!
I’ve had slugs on the rampage all year! And tried to contain them in many ways that was a deterrent. I failed !! I’ve had hostas stripped , cosmos destroyed , dahlias left in shreds , salvia wrecked ( nurturer back to life ) and wrecked again , new salvias to replace old eaten to the ground in first night of planting , cannas exfoliated , chocolate cosmos mowed and down right vandalised , brugmansia climbed and attacked from slug heights I never thought possible , gladioli scaled and eaten from top to bottom by black slugs , white slugs , brown slugs , big slugs , monster slugs and small slugs … how and why so many defended on my prized garden this year is beyond me. THESE PELLETS HAVE SAVED MY SANITY , my garden and my wallet. I took a night walk with the torch the first night of sprinkling them about ( and I had just watered the whole garden , so it was a perfect storm for a slug buffet ) I was delighted for the first time to see slugs roaming about on mass on the garden soil , the lawn and generally everywhere they could be … but NOT on my plants - yippppeee - they had been distracted by a tempting little pellet on the ground and were all tucking in merrily to the new free lunch . The smile on my face was picture perfect … this could be the end.Ps: I put these down because I know I don’t get visiting hedgehogs or wild life to eat slugs … the sheer quantity of damage told me how little wildlife in this new build estate we have gained ( I’m sure it will come ) so was very confident regardless of the write up that I was not going to upset wildlife. The cats don’t seem interested so that’s a good thing. On this occasion it’s the right product for my problem.

Good product works well
Excellent product certainly works well as we had a slug and snail problem. Only issue is you have to repeat for successive days. as the snail army seemed to send in the infantry first to take the pellets leaving it nicely free for the cavalry charge! Also don’t like seeing several casualties across the garden battlefield afterwards - dying or dead snails that have turned black leaving a short black oily trail. Not pleasant and being an animal lover this does not rest easy with me. However in large numbers they are pests and I have to say since using my garden as looked the best ever, plants are flourishing.

Wish I got it earlier!
It’s a wee bit fiddly to disperse evenly if your plants are dense or established but it works!Definitely need a second application as I noticed slugs in my pots after a month/6 weeksIt’s been very wet recently so it may be a factor

Not sure
Bought as this said 'natural' but there's nothing on the container that confirms this. Worried about using it now.
