I loved the way this showed God as Papa,(Played by Octavia Spencer - The Help),lovely gentle way of portraying God, was so liberating for me after my serious Catholic Upbringing, the God I knew then was really hard and terrifying as a child back in the 1950's. Papa is gentle and full of wisdom and love ,and so approachable too, The Holy Spirit and Jesus, a nowadays carpenter has you enthralled as the story develops. Its about Mac's journey through loss, pain, hope and forgiveness. Something I and many I know can identify with. This is a DVD that is full of healing and wisdom. I have shared it with my chapel and as fast as I order new copies, (Bless desertcart Prime for keeping up the deliveries for me), they fly in different directions, as peoples lives are being changed for the better, its great also for study groups as it helps us to discuss issues that are often buried deep in the past.
