It is very practical and functional, adapting to every need: the ironing board, with breathable holes that prevent condensation, is adjustable to three heights for ironing even when sitting. Assa's strengths are The painted beech wood frame is solid but at the same time easy to move. When closed, it takes up very little space and can be easily "hidden" in the home. Review: Best ironing board I’ve ever owned - Not cheap but well worth the investment. Easy to assemble, sturdy and with a massive surface area making short work of all the ironing, particularly bedding. The retractable metal shelf holds my steam generator easily and the lower shelf is great for stacking finished items. It folds quickly and easily and the wheels make it a doddle to move around. Stands neatly behind the door when not in use. I fully expect to be passing this on to the next generation, it’s so solid. Any reservations I had about spending that amount on an ironing board evaporated the moment it arrived.

**Q: what are the three heights the board can be set to?**
A: The board can be adjusted to three different heights, as any other ironing board. It means that you can iron seated on the lowest, then there's a medium which is the one I use and the highest  which is too high for me and I am 5 ft 11 tall! The board is really good, it feels sturdy and I love that you can carry it around on wheels rather than having to lift it.  The only thing that surprised me at first was the actual length of the board which was around 15cm shorter than my old one, however I can now say that it doesn't really make any difference actually I like that he board ,when folded, is more compact. I hope this helps!

**Q: What is the size of the ironing surface, please? Description says 150x50cm but a review refers to it as "shorter" than others.**
A: Hi that does seem large...here below is the mainfactures specifications. Certainly 50cm across but 120cn in length. Thank you.

I absolutely love my new ironing board. It's pleasant to put up out of the cupboard, no longer any creaking and clanking metal, and works so brilliantly as the board is much wider and shorter than cheap metal versions; much more fit for purpose. The iron rest is solid, shelf underneath large enough to fit a pile of ironed t shirts. The ironing surface is very good, with thick padding too. I was worried about assembly but adding the wheels is no harder than buttering a slie of toast. This will make ironing a pleasure rather than a chore, I guarantee. Wish I had bought one years ago.
