Fit my ozark trail explorer G1
Allowed me to switch from square taper on my ozark trail explorer g1. It comes pregreased which is really nice. It installed nicely and is as smooth as butter.

Shimano quality and reliablity
You simply can not go wrong with any Shimano branded bike parts. This BB is easy to install and the bearings are of very high quality. I have nearly 10K miles on my current BB and it is not even beginning to show signs of wear. Very durable and smooth spinning.

It's a bottom bracket that doesn't empty your wallet.
For Shimano cranks these do the trick and are affordable. As long as your spindle matches the ID it's a no brainer. I've got these on a couple bikes with either Deore cranks or Raceface Aeffect and so far super happy with them.

Still good, but Shimano quality has declined in recent years
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I've gotten good mileage out of a few of these. (10000 miles or so). Despite having smaller bearings than lower tiers, they have more of them, and I think that trade off in surface area increases longevity. They are not, however, as good as they used to be. I had DA bottom brackets from earlier generations that lasted forever under pretty harsh riding. These are good, but clearly Shimano has sacrificed longevity for other demands like weight or price. I also caution against buying these from sellers you don't recognize. There are a lot of Shimano knock-offs out there.

Excellent product, comes with 3 spacers, fits perfectly on a 73mm bb shell using only one 2mm spacer on the drive side.

Great value
Works great. Threaded into my bsa bottom bracket perfectly and my 24mm hollow crank spins freely. I don't notice any creaking/grinding and the bearings are holding up well after a few months.
