Sound X SMI438BT portable bluetooth splash proof shower speaker - for indoor or outdoor use

A simple to operate, well-designed speaker. Has the look and feel of a well made product.I am happy to report I've used daily for a month with "somewhat used" batteries recycled from more power intensive devices, and that so far they are still going strong.I bought this because I had gotten fed up with using rechargeable Bluetooth speakers that would run out of power unexpectedly mid-use when I would be unable to replenish until after I needed to use (and then would need to remove it from the bathroom to recharge, frequently forgetting to put it back when it had done so).Would recommend based on my experience so far. I will endeavour to update my review in a few months time to report on its ongoing performance.Edit ~6 months later, speaker still going well and only now changing batteries for the first time.

Returned without opening as it looked like an obese hippopotamus had decided into use it as a comforter.
