True Blue Reflective Fire Pit Fire Glass 4,5 Kg

These look great, the same colour that's in the advertised photo, but I have to share my experience - if your constructing a fire pit, buy and place as many lava rocks as possible, normally level with the top of your burner and then buy the fire glass. My burner is 36 inch with a 3 inch gap around the edge. You should pay no more than £10 for 3kg of lava rocks so don't try to fill your pit with fire glass as it would cost a lot.That said and to save money, recap - lava rocks to the level of the burner, make sure you fill in the gaps between the rocks with small rocks, spend time doing this as again it will save you money. Then purchase 6 bags of fire glass and make sure you've you cover you burner by a inch to give you a good flame lift. I would recommend this product.

Bought a gas powered fire pit table which came with its own lava rocks and 'rock logs'. Wasn't very happy with the look of the fire as the lava rocks either covered the gas flames entirely or you could clearly see the jets as they came out - not a very authentic camp fire look.Bought one box of the True Blue crystals. which was comfortably enough to cover the entire centre ring, including gas jets, using the original lave rocks on the outside of the burner (its a very large fire pit), and the look is fantastic. The gas can escape easiliy in the cracks between the Blue crystals, but they do the job of not only keeping the heat from the flames, but also distributing the flames to have the look of a real camp fire, albeit one that is covered s great looking blue crystals.
