Tiny Dining 36 Piece Kids Infants Children's Junior Cutlery Set (12 Small Table Knives, 12 Small Table Forks, 12 Small Dessert Spoons)

This set provides 12 forks, knives and spoons designed for little hands. I’d say the fork is the size of a cake fork, the spoon is slightly bigger than a teaspoon, and the knife proportional to these. What I like about this set apart from the number of items (great for when friends come over or cutlery gets lost) is that it looks just like adult cutlery. No plastic or babyish engravings on the handles. This means it will last for years. My son (2.5) finds these easy to handle and no sharp edges, though the times of the fork are as sharp as normal adult cutlery. They seem to wash well in the dishwasher. My only complaint was that 6 of the forks were missing when the parcel arrived, and the box was damaged. But the seller kindly sent me extra with no quibble at all.

We purchased this set for my 9 month. we followed baby led weaning and Montessori principles both of which aim to give the child independence opportunities however he found it very difficult to use plastic baby forks to stab food (I even I struggled as an adult!) So we set out to look for "real" utensils that were sharp enough to use and the right size to be easy. This set was excellent value for money, has enough pieces that we never run out, has held up well to regular dishwashing and is perfect for my son to use himself. My only sight issue is the amount of plastic packaging used but overall this was a great buy that means my now 15 month olds skill level has improved massively.

Not only is this cutlery set great for youngsters it is also good for adults who have mobility problems in their hands. The shape of the tines on the fork are exactly like adult forks and not straight like many children's forks. This means they can hold the fork correctly instead of holding at 90 degrees to the food. The knife will not hurt skin but it cuts through food better than many adult knives.I wholeheartedly recmoment this cutlery set for children aged 18 months up to adults 100+. Well worth the money.

The cutlery set for children is lightweight and slightly smaller than an adult version. The spoon is bigger than a teaspoon, though. I had wondered when I read in the description that it was of the size of a teaspoon, because I had also looked at the given measure on a ruler and there it appeared to be bigger than just a teaspoon. And so it is in reality, mine is between a teaspoon and a tablespoon and so just right for my use. I am very satisfied to have gotten a stainless steel cutlery set that is lightweight and a bit smaller than regular cutlery sets and has nevertheless this number of pieces. I use it every day.

I was first blown away by the price. Previously having been searching for children's cutlery sets and being annoyed at the fact is have to pay £5 for one set just because the knife actually had a aerated age to enable cutting to happen.... However I stumbled across this set of 12 which was just under £12!!! I couldn't believe my luck. There's no bells or whistles but they do the job they were made for and in the end surely that all you need?!? Maybe the handles are a bit small if your child is moving to feeding themselves (say under 1) but my youngest (who's 2) has no problems with using them. I would definitely recommend and will buy again if needed.

One of my best purchases, it’s like grown up cutlery but smaller! Also less plastic so good for the planet. We have now got rid of all the clutter in the utensils drawer and my kids don’t fight over which colour spoon etc! We have had them for a year now and they are still perfect. The spoon is a good size which is just slightly bigger that a teaspoon, the knife is slightly serrated but not sharp and the fork is a good size too. All in all I would buy again.

Absolutely brilliant product. Have been looking for a child's cutlery set for my two grandchildren aged now 3&4 for the last year and this set is fantastic. Good value, perfect size, and enough to have 6 each of knives, forks and spoons at my house and the same amount for my grandchildren to take home. We have used the forks ourselves for desserts and the spoons for cereal. The knife will cut food so I would suggest adult supervision advisable whilst young child using it. The cutlery is sturdy, dishwasher proof and looks good. Highly recommended. Thank you.

UPDATE After 5 years these are still going strong and my children now 8,6,5 still use them and they are just as good as the day we got them (I'm about to order more) well worth the money and would recommend to my friends stillthese are idea for my 3YO Son and soon for his little sister. the knives are no good for them at the moment cos i feel they are both still to young for the knifes (and i don't want them damaging my table TBH)spoons are great for my son as we seem to lose so many! think some1 steals them! he really Enjoy's eating with them as they are bigger then the toddler cutlery he seems so grown up! :-) Must have for my growing Family! and even enough for when Friends come over!
