It really is dust proof and waterproof, it keeps your phone in perfect condition and is very durable. My husband works in the oilfield and he dropped his phone in a porta potty and when he finally got his phone back he ripped the case off and it was fine, not a drop of blue disinfectant or anything else. Luckily it was a new and unused porta potty but still, that's just gross. He works in West Texas and it's incredibly dusty then nothing but mud and floods and his phone was like new up until the incident and had to remove the case.I really like how the case fits so tight against the screen without any gaps or air and it's really rugged. I bought myself one and I'm very clumsy, I don't know how many times my phone slipped out of the kitchen window and into the sink full of water but I don't worry about it because it keeps all of the water out. I've also dropped my phone in puddles while rushing into the house during storms. I love this case and I'm not using a different one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what you need. *by Q***Y on September 7, 2018* I've been using this phone case for a couple months now and I love it, very durable, I drop my phone all the time and I never really worry as it goes tumbling down, haha. The rubber bits on the bottom are STILL hard to open and close, however that's the only downside to a waterproof phone case. I heaven't have to test out the waterproofness, but I've definitely been out in the rain with my phone and wasn't worried about the water resistance at all. It does slightly mute the sound, and make it more difficult for people to hear you on speaker, but again, barely considering the protection it's providing for your larger investment. Well worth money spent, if I lost it, I'd buy the exact case again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong case, good seal against moisture *by M***Y on July 23, 2018* Seems like it would be very waterproof!! I couldn't open the cover to charge my phone while it was on though, so I'll use the case when I need waterproofing, but not daily use. The port not opening was actually reassuring to me, hopefully it indicates that water won't get into the electronics if submerged or soiled. The little kick stand isn't very sturdy, too thin.Phone is still very much usable in the case, senses touch, turns on, biometrics still work. All in all it's a good case that I will keep and use, but only in certain circumstances like skiing, going to the beach, ets. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/49450135-punkcase-for-galaxy-s8-waterproof-case-kickstud-series-slim-fit](https://www.desertcart.be/products/49450135-punkcase-for-galaxy-s8-waterproof-case-kickstud-series-slim-fit) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
