KOHM Nail Clippers - Heavy-Duty, Stainless-Steel Chiropodist-Style Toenail Cutters for Thick Nails

Have to use chiropodist as some nails I can't cut myself. Not any more. These clippers are excellent. Thick nails no problem, just do a bit at a time to get used to them. Two nails that were growing in the sides and painful, sorted. Very comfortable in the hand and not too heavy. Very easy to use. The precision point is good as it does cut right to the point which most scissors don't do. The cut on them is amazing. A professional item in my opinion, and not and exorbitant price.

I bought these clippers to replace an excellent pair of scissors I'd been using for years to cut my toe nails. Over time my nails have become very thick, in part due to damage caused by long distance walking. These clippers are sharp, robust and accurate (ie I can avoid catching soft tissue in the jaws). My level of manual dexterity is high so operation of the clippers poses no problems - those with arthritic conditions might find them a tad difficult to use. Criticism? Well, the plastic cover that holds the jaws closed when not in use could be more robust - I doubt it will last more than a couple of months. Overall, though, a fine product.

Over the years I have tried many, many genres of "these will tackle even the most difficult nails" products. My most recent failure, a pair of heavy duty nail clippers, lasted a couple of years before they disintegrated as I was cutting my big toenail when they just - quite literally - fell apart in my hand. Right, I thought, I've had enough of this. Time to buy something decent. So I sent for these. Oh, wow. These toenail clippers are secateurs for the nails. I can't imagine any nails that they wouldn't slice a way through with a lovely even cut created by the curve of the blades. I'm not at my best when cutting the nails on my right hand 'cos I am not left handed... but these clippers have such a positive cut I have found it a breeze to use them left handed. I can't recommend them highly enough really. They are absolutely brilliant and worth every penny I spent on them.

Of course you have to be careful when clipping but then it's plain sailing. (Most of my nails are not thick but I still think they'd be fine for thicker nails.)-Previously I'd bought a different make but they had to be returned as they quickly proved to be faulty.I expect these KOHM Nail Clippers to last a long time.

My husband has very thick tough toe nails. I cut them, at least I have tried. In the end I gave up and he went to a podiatrist. Excellent but expensive. I then found these clippers on Amazon. Having tried a variety of clippers before I was not optimistic. In fact I was delighted with them. At last the most difficult nails were cut neatly with hardly a grumble from husband. At the same time a bought a really good long nail file.total cost about £20, already a £15 save on one visit to Podiatrist. The clippers are large, sharp and soft handles make them easy and safe to hold. Problem solved.

Been Looking for a good pair of toenail flippers for ages as tried many but wasn't any good and bought a pair from eBay that was crap,been using a Swiss card scissors for years that seem the only thing that could cut my toenails lol took a chance with these after reading the reviews that seemed goodCame in very good packaging and look the real deal and had to try them asap and was a joy how easy they was to use and how good they cut my toenails and liked the comfort grip you get from them,didn't seem any risk at all cutting yourself as seem very safe and easy to useIf you've got hard toenails like mine these will do the job well

Great functionality, but poor quality product. Rubber grips on the handles slipped off on first use.
