Russian Alphabet Flashcards by LoLo - Best Way to Learn Russian Letters; Fun & Easy Learning Technique; Created Specifically for Native English Speakers

I wrote this review for the vocabulary set that I got from this company but most points apply to this set as well, that I also got.First thing that is obvious when you receive these cards is their quality (both in materials and design). These are super cool and creatively designed! You cannot treat this system as just another set of flash cards to help you remember words, you have to understand the idea behind how this system works. And it works! The first thing I did and would recommend doing is go to their website and watch a short video giving you an idea of how to use the cards. After that, depending on your level of Russian, you would either work with the cards alone, or in my case - I use them while having my computer/ipad around to help with pronunciation. Without trying too hard I got a few words already stuck in my head. Every time I try to recall these new words, the association words (that are pictured on the cards) pop in my head. It's actually funny...I also got the alphabet set because I wanted to start recognizing the sounds without relying on the computer for pronunciation.

I loved these cards. It's a great set with intuitive images for English speaking people. I thought it'a a rather great idea to find verbal and visual associations to remember Russian letters.

It’s easy to learn the alphabets

I purchased LoLo alphabet a week ago, and Russian is no longer Chinese for me.

This set of kits are obviously the result of a lot of thinking and a lot of work. Beautifully designed to help with the extremely hard task of learning the Russian language, starting with the letters.

It is an amazing product for teaching one of the most complicated languages in the world. The alphabet is the most important part , because it's the base. Due to wonderful pictures I explained Russian alphabet easily .

I am using a combination of DuoLingo and Babbel (apps) to study the Russian language. I can't fully explain how helpful these flash cards have been in making me more comfortable with the Cyrillic alphabet! These cards pair a Cyrillic letterform with a picture of a word in English that has the same sound. For instance, the letter ш sounds like "sh" and the picture is a shark! It's a great mnemonic device and super helpful to visual learners like me. There is a card displaying JUST the alphabet to help you study without seeing the imagery, which is useful to test yourself. I keep referring back to these cards to brush up my skills. Love it especially for distinguishing between the letters that make similar sounds.The cards come in a paper envelope and they are on cardstock-like thick paper. If I could change one thing, I'd wish they were a little smaller and of more robust paper (like the size/texture of playing cards) because they are not "pocket sized." I still carry them around all the time and the educational content is honestly more important to me than the fabrication. Love these!Shortly after purchasing them, they became unavailable. I sincerely hope they return because I strongly recommend them!
