It's an adhesive strip the length of the unit which you attach (press) to the surface of the tiles, then you easily slot the unit on. Easy. Must be attached to a clean, smooth and dry surface. I reckon this adhesive strip won't fall off or tilt like other cheaper things. I have not tried to remove the adhesive strip and suggest it might be difficult but not impossible to do so, therefore - be sure to put it where you want it first time! Sticks very strongly to UPVC cladding. Better than the suction cups that decide to fall off in the absolute dead of night. Really nice item. Using it for soap bottles in a newly decorated cloakroom toilet. It's a chrome finish which is what i wanted. Glad I chose this item. Didn't want to screw into the wall panels as holes drilled in UPVC are generally permanent, so I opted for this stick on item and im pleased I did.
