Strong, Reliable, and Saves My Walls
These Command hooks are an absolute lifesaver! No more worrying about nails or damaging the walls—just stick, hang, and you’re done. They hold up surprisingly well; I’ve used them for everything from lightweight picture frames to heavier kitchen utensils, and they haven’t budged. The installation is as easy as it gets, and the adhesive strips are sturdy but gentle on walls. I love that when you need to move something, the hooks come off cleanly without leaving behind any residue or damage. It’s a total game-changer for renters or anyone who doesn’t want to make a permanent mark on the walls. The 20-pack is a great value, and the fact that they include extra strips is a nice bonus. Overall, these hooks are strong, reliable, and do exactly what they promise. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle-free hanging solution.

Tips and Helpful Advice! DAMAGE-FREE solution when the strip breaks off!!
So, a couple of things.Tip 1: These are better used on drywall that has been painted with a eggshell, satin, or semi-gloss paint. My room is painted with eggshell paint and tested it with a bag hooked onto it that is over 5 lbs for over two days. I know people usually have these stuck to the wall for a year or more but I wasn't about to test a command hook for that long just for a review, haha. I didn't clean the surface before I stuck it on the wall or do any kind of prep work. I simply pressed the hook onto the wall with pressure similar to when you are smoothing over a sticker flat onto paper (that's the best analogy I could think of, haha). After two days, I unhooked the hook part and pulled down the tab and it came off cleanly. Anything that is matte or flat paint will have a higher chance of paint getting chipped off when removing the hook.Tip 2: Any kind of glossy surface or hi-shine area that a command hook is stuck onto, may not stick on as well. It's a possibility so keep it in mind. Any surface that is pebbled and not entirely flat too. Think like those cement walls that have been painted over with that super glossy and smooth paint you see in school buildings. That paint and/or surface will not work all that well with the hooks. It may at first but I believe over time, it will eventually lose its grip.Tip 2: If you're using OLD command strips (never used strips that you just kept for future use or in storage that are over a year old) then the likelihood of them breaking or ripping apart increases before being able to remove the hook from the wall. The white strips are made partly from foam material. Over time, this foam material will deteriorate and won't work as well when it comes time to removing them. I suggest buying new command strips on a as-needed basis if you want to reuse the hooks. But if you still want to use or have used old strips then read on below for a trick that will remove strips when they've broken off.Tip 3: If you have a command hook that has been up on a wall for a really long time. Say at least over a year or more, and the command strip breaks before you get to remove it completely. DON'T force the adhesive off by pulling or prying it off by slipping a flat tool in between the strip and the wall to peel it off. That will most DEFINITELY peel paint and more from the walls. Here's a great solution without having to DAMAGE your wall and still get the hook to come off.Take either dental floss or fishing line to see-saw the strip material off from the wall. Saw in between the strip from the wall. See-saw the floss/line all the way through the strip until it is mostly off the wall. Don't stop mid-way and think you can pull the rest off with your hand. Once you've sawed off most of the strip material from the wall the plastic back is now off the wall but there will probably still be some strip material attached to the wall but it will mostly be the adhesive material that's still attached. Bunch up a corner from the BOTTOM (not left side, right side or ever the top) until your fingers can find a good grip on the bunched up adhesive and slowly pull the adhesive part down. If the strip was up on the wall for a long time, the adhesive part may still break apart while you're trying to remove it so just bunch up a corner again from the bottom and pull down again until it's completely removed. This method should removeI hope this saves some walls and prevents some people from having to spend money and time into repairing a wall.

works - perhaps needs more sticky pads
The hooks work fine, but a few have come loose recently - need a few extra sticky pads.

Must have for college dorm!
If you think you only need 2 or 3 command hooks for college you are wrong. I have two of these on basically every wall in my dorm room and i love them. No damage to the wall when you remove them, and they hold up really well. I use these to hang my towels, sweatshirts, hats etc… Buy these! even if u don’t think you will need this many, trust me you will.
