Jane Austen's Matchmaker

Really disappointed with the Matchmaker game, don't think it's worth the cost for what is essentially a pack of cards.

Same review as for pack 2 as they were purchased together:When looking for something a little more "in-law" friendly to play on holiday than Cards Against Humanity, I came across this little gem and it's originating single packWhat could be more appealing to refined and well spoken relatives than the chance to interfere and intervene in regency period relatyionships and scheme and backstab your way to victory in finding the perfect coupling.An amazing laugh around the dining table in polite (and not so polite!) company, and definitely worth adding to your gaming collection when you want to break out from simply finding the funniest and most offensive missing words

I absolutely love this game! It's so clever and funny. It's great for Jane Austen fans even if you don't have other Janeites to play with, because you can play memory game with the cards. Even if you didn't read any of her novels, you will be still able to play, but I doubt you will understand, why some couples simply musn't be allowed to marry due to their inevitable misery in case they did. :)

£12 for a small pack of cards!! Ridiculous! The picture makes it look bigger than it is.. Rather than a standard pack of cards! Not value for money at all!! Gave 1 star as delivered earlier than expected

Super fun game! It is a bit complicated at first, but you will love it as you get into it!

Great game, not too difficult to learn the mechanics. Will anoy Jane Austin fans who have to marry off the wrong people...
