[Pack of 5] E27 to B22 Lamp Base Adapter | ES to Bayonet Socket Converter for LED Bulbs and Incandescent Bulbs and CFL Bulbs [Energy Class A++]

These worked perfectly for allowing me to install a B22 bayonet fitting Philips Hue Colour bulb into a lamp that has an E27 Edison screw fitting. I bought the kit of 3 Phillips Colour Hue bayonet bulbs on Black Friday and needed the adapter for one of them (I would have just bought the E27 version of the Philips hue colour bulb otherwise).They are quite simple devices so I am not sure what might go wrong with them. I found the bayonet fitting is a tiny bit loose so the bulb has a small amount of play in it after installing but it's secure enough in there.Delivery was really quick (next day) which was nice because the last adapters I ordered on Amazon came from China and took about 3 weeks to arrive!

It works, but it has all the hallmarks of the kind of thing that will burn out or melt, as so many Amazon electrical things have done. It is also fairly bulky, so it will suit a pendant light fitting or similar, but probably not a small light.

Took these to Spain where we had a stock of UK light bulbs not fitting the Euro screw fixtures. Did the trick a saved paying €3 each of alternative light bulbs. It does extend the length of the clearance required for the bulb. Be careful if your light fixture has limited length for the bulb.

Solidly made and a good fit for the bayonet and the screw. Recommended for fitting new LED, as well as old, but serviceable, bayonet bulbs into modern (Euro e.g. IKEA) shades.

Didn't even know such a thing existed, no need to buy all sorts of fittings now, just adaptors.
