If you don't know why you want to buy an Alfa, you're probably buying the wrong thing.As much as it's an ugly potmanteau, I will describe this as a "prosumer" device - once they're up and running, they have some very unusual features that hard-core nerds will enjoy - but, depending on the OS you're using, getting to that stage can mean a bit of mucking around [they play nicely with Kali].

Love it. Can't seem to boost as much the 36h but still has the super powers we want from heroes. Range stronger than my old ath9k but marginally but must grumble as I have all XD i did have 4 and lack of experience may not of helped but the 51v2 seemed impossible to get working perfect so i sold it

Came quickly, worked fine. Opened it up to make sure it was genuine and then it stopped working. Couldn't see any obvious signs that I had broken anything. Lesson learned, I'll order another.Only gripe is the usb connection is extremely stiff.
