Neat little card reader with fast read / write speeds ... but with one serious flaw.I don't know if I received a duff unit, but as soon as I plug this device in it emits so much interference on the 2.4GHz band (and possibly on other frequencies too) that both my laptop's WiFi and Bluetooth mouse virtually grind to a halt! I've proved this repeatedly – browsing the internet fine, plug the card reader in (even without a card in it!) and all web browsing stops working. Similarly if the WiFi is off, I plug the reader in and try to connect to my normal WiFi router it just times out! Also, as soon as the reader is plugged in my Bluetooth Apple Magic mouse starts to lose connection with the laptop ...So whilst this product functions perfectly well as a card reader (and it's a very neat small package which blends well with the style of my MacBook Pro), avoid it if you rely on / use WiFi or Bluetooth accessories with your computer!I have now replaced the card reader with this one:  Transcend USB Type C Smart Card Reader  – which allows me to both download files from my memory cards AND browse the internet at the same time!

This product damaged my new MacBook Pro. The moment is plugged I got distortion of a red screen on my monitor and no WIFI, took me a bit of time to connect the two and I hope no serious damage done internally. So far my computer is safe and this card reader went directly to trash won't even waste my time for getting refound, writing here to warn others.Also, it wasn't easy to plug it into my USB C port at first and since my computer is totally new I thought is because of that but apparently that also one major problem with this product the connector is too thick

Performance exactly as advertised. Connected and transfering photos in seconds.It's the smallest, It holds the card well, the USB C plug makes a solid connection, and it doesn't bottleneck the performance of my fast SD cards. Very Convenience
