I uninstalled this program, downloaded it again from the Dell site and reinstalled it. The modem now seems to be working, so I've upgraded the stars to 5 - especially as the support from US Robotics is good. It did not come with a UK compatible lead, this is not America, your leads do not work in our sockets. It worked on Windows 7 and is now working fine on Windows 10. Not sure if it will but I hope that helps. **Q: does this modem work on WIN10 x64?** A: Yes it does, fully tested by myself, what I would say is that the modem does have callerID - this feature is by default off. Needs to be turned on,can be done in hyperTerminal. **Q: does this work for sending faxes?** A: yes **Q: Hi I noticed that one review made mention that this modem doe's not work on digital phone lines which most of us have here in the UK???** A: I work in telecoms. Most UK lines are not digital so this modem should work fine.
