After ordering our cutting board from Hardwood Chef, we knew that we had to have the salad bowl once it was released. The quality and craftsmanship in this bowl, has far exceeded expectation. When the package arrives to you, it is nicely packaged and presented very well, all while keeping the product safe.When opening, the smell of wood is incredible, and then after fine tooth combing the bowl, we were very pleased to see if was free of defects.Great job on the salad bowl! Looking forward to the next product!

Thrilled about my new Acacia Wood Salad bowl. Its not only a salad bowl to me but also a useful and I think timeless decoration for my kitchen counter and table! Ordering another one as a present for someone who will Love it even more than me:)Quick Pros:-Size & Weight: Big enough to accommodate a large salad but small and light enough not to cause trouble when washing in my kitchen sink.-Screams Natural: I love holding this Wood, the Acacia has something sentimental nature bonding about it. (I had an old wooden bowl which would feel more like plastic than wood)-Aesthetic design: I guess I already mentioned this before but this bowl looks so nice I never put it away in the cupboard.Quick Cons: Can't throw it into the washing machine.

Hardwood Chef has done it again!! I have previously purchased a cutting board by the same brand and was very pleased with the product. Unfortunately, I have gone through a few cutting boards for a cheaper price trying to save a few bucks but ended up spending more in the long run. I have had Hardwood Chef’s cutting board for over a year and it still looks brand new! There is no doubt that it would be the same for the salad bowl. The wife especially loves it because it serves as a great center piece for the dining room table or island kitchen when not in use. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of the product! Gentlemen, if you are looking for a great holiday gift for the wife, look no further!

Disappointed that this crack on the first washing. Afraid to reorder. Has this happened to others?

I like how thick the bowl is and that it’s different than a lot of ugly fruit bowls. The only thing I didn’t like it there was a rough area at one of the joints (since it’s not a solid piece of wood) that easily snagged things. I had to sand it down a little to make that area a smooth transition but you can’t tell at all. Although quite large, it wasn’t big enough for all our fruit so I had to buy a second bowl and some banana hooks

Hardwood chef never fails to impress me with their high quality products. The bowl came in a uniquely branded box that included a brochure on how to maintain the bowl. I’ve used this bowl several times in the last week, I’m addicted. Whether it be chips, popcorn, fruits, or salads, this bowl is versatile and easy to clean. It looks beautiful on my kitchen counter and has caught the eye of many of my book club pals. I’m excited to see what else is in stock for the future of Hardwood Chef.
