Very nice filter, but tends to float more than others.
Excellent filter effectiveness. I needed a 1 micron size filter sock to catch excess lanthanum particulates when trying to reduce phosphates in my reef tank. It does the job, but I did need to add several old frag plugs to help weigh down the bottom of the sock to keep it from floating up and releasing sediments.

They design of the bag covers the return port but there isn't a way to succure it.

Using to filter waste veg oil
Using to filter waste veg oil for my tdi. I use a old pair of jeans into my settling tank then a 10 micron and then finally through this 5 micron. The oils pretty clean after they make it through this one. if using these filters be sure to build something so the filter is supported and not hanging, as that would stretch it and lower it's effectiveness. Will be buying more in the future but so far I've filtered 400 liters and they are still flowing nice 👍
