Smaller capcity for smaller jobs ie. lawn mowers. Review: Pela 2000 - I ordered this pump as I can't remove the sump plug on my Ford KA. I used it today to change the oil through the dipstick tube and I am very happy with the results. The pump was easy to set up and use, instructions were clear and operation was simple. I wondered if it would be painfully slow to drain a car's sump, but I had plenty of time to do it and so I took my time over a couple of hours. I did have to plunge the pump fairly frequently as time went on but it wasn't a big problem. The oil flowed quickly having started the operation about 10-15 minutes after switching the engine off. Although the container isn't clear it was pretty easy to see the level of the oil. One thing to note is that I used a small ladder to set the container on, as with the hose fully into the dipstick tube, the hose didn't reach all the way to the ground. Not much hassle as far as I'm concerned. Overall I'm totally satisfied with this product and would say it's worth the money. Well worth it, delivered on time & packaged well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gets the job done *by B***Y on 7 October 2020* I first bought the cheaper Silverline model, which was a complete waste of time. The hose that inserts into the dip stick tube that is included with the Pela is a rubber coated steel coil - it drops straight in and gets right to the bottom of the sump. The cheaper makes only have clear pvc tubing, which bunches, curls and fowls when trying to insert. I couldn't even get that tube half way in, and I would worry about it snagging and potentially breaking off inside the engine if it ever did reach the sump. If you want to make the job simple this is a good choice.
