Now, maybe I got a dud. But these batteries cost over $100 a couple years ago and this one was only $16. When I put it in the computer the computer says there's no battery. Never had that problem with other batteries. This is frankly why I try and avoid buying on amazon. Doubt this would have happened if I'd bought straight from the manufacturer. Lesson learned....

Mostly used to keep the laptop on during power outages and brown-outs and hiccups in power service. Runs the system for a long while if the cord unplugs itself. Never really tested its endurance but its primarily to compensate for power loss than portable use.

I replace the battery but still it does not work as I preferred, but what do you expect for the reasonable price battery for the old laptop?
