I finally tossed all of it into the trash. Thankfully TabCat came out with a newer version, bought that, again, I do like this product. **Q: Does it need a sim card on it to work?** A: No SIM card needed. Before my cats all moved inside I just needed to change the batteries every 60 to 90 days. **Q: The original tag was lost & can't sync replacement because I can't deactivate a lost tag. What do I do?** A: You dont need to deactivate the lost one.Just resyncronize a new tag with the basis station.You can find the tutorial video on internet .Unfortunately we cannot share external link here. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 May 2018* Useful to have an extra one so can just swop them over ### ⭐ Faulty product and problems returning *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 31 July 2022* I had previously bought a tracker with 1 transmitter which is works, with reservations (see separate review). I needed a second transmitter.This transmitter clearly had a fault. It would connect ok and run for about an hour or so before it lost connection and needed to be re-booted. So I returned it and this caused a lot of problems. It had to be returned to Sovlakia. Fortuneately it was tracked but Amazon appeared to have no record of it being sent. When it eventually arrived it was refused by the recipient! Eventually Amazon issued a full refund after several phone calls.Do not buy this product or do business with the manufacturer. ### ⭐⭐ Really need to get their act togethe with pairing instructions. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 29 September 2016* As per other reviews it simply doesn't pair when you follow the instructions. In fact now my original stopped working as well. I went through the paring process a large number of times and managed to get the old tag wroking and then the new tag but not the old tag and then, finally, both tags.
