This works perfectly and is literally just plug and play. It’s good value for money and well built. Annoyingly, I should have got the version with the number keypad to the right, with num lock, as without it, there are some functions on the minidisc player I still have to use the remote for. But this was my oversight, and is a minor inconvenience. Review: Compact style, PS2 I used it for emergency recovery of my home windows PC - What I have used this product for is that all the USB drivers on my windows 7 crashed so I needed a PS2 keyboard. This product is perfect for what I wanted to try and recover and repair my system where a USB keyboard no longer functions. Simply plug into the back of the PC using the Green It is a lovely size as smaller than a keyboard with calculator pad built in. still had the standard essential keys that you need. For me this was a great utility product and I could also use it for day to day home office work - typing letters and emails it is great :) Just the calculator pad is not included on the right hand side as usual so for doing accounts number crunching it would not be the best but obviously you cannot have it both way. Nice light keys to the touch. Product was delivered without any damage and no recorded faults since I bought it Overall very pleased with my purchase and got my out a technical problem with my PC Very good. ## Features - SAVE SPACE WITH COMPACT DESIGN: Mini wired keyboard measuring 315x147x21 mm fits perfectly in tight workspaces without compromising functionality. Sadly there are no blue numbers to remind you of this. So if in Num Lk mode (see first Answer above) the keypad is to be found as 789 gives 789 UIOP gives 456- JKL; gives 123+ M gives 0 **Q: Is the PS/2 port female ? Isnt it suppose to be male (the pc has a femle port) ?** A: 2 inputs (usb female ports )...lead with a usb male to pc **Q: Does this keyboard have flip out feet at the back to raise it up? Thanks** A: No it does NOT have flip out feet. I use felt furniture adhesive feet stacked to desired lift. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little PS/2 keyboard *by A***. on 9 March 2025* I needed a low cost and compact keyboard to connect via PS/2 connector to my old Minidisc deck, in order to easily be able to title tracks. However, a few niggles mean it can't be full marks: 1) No flexibility on positioning. It's okay for me but for some this will be a deal-breaker, and 2) No joke, within two days of usage, the lettering started to rub off the keys in certain "high traffic" areas like WASD. Obviously still functions, but it doesn't quite look the part anymore. As I said, good, but not great. ## Frequently Bought Together - Perixx PERIBOARD-409P Wired Mini Keyboard, Compact PS/2 Interface, UK Layout, Black - Perixx PERIMICE-201PII B, Wired PS2 Optical Mouse - 3 Button - 1000dpi Resolution - 1.8m Cable - Black - Xiatiaosann PS/2 to USB A Adapter - Female to Male Keyboard & Mouse Adapter, 4 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/49278132-perixx-periboard-409p-wired-mini-keyboard-compact-ps-2-interface](https://www.desertcart.be/products/49278132-perixx-periboard-409p-wired-mini-keyboard-compact-ps-2-interface) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
