Sky Viper e1750 Stunt Drone Builder with Flight Assist & 2X Improved Flight Range - 2017 Edition

I bought this drone as a beginner drone and it comes with everything you need to learn to fly really fast. I got my order within two days which was awesome. The only thing u need are three AAA batteries for the remore(transmitter). The drone takes about 30 minutes to build and is actually a fun and ez to build. The is a builder app u can easily download to help you with your build. After the drone is built the fun begins. Start with a big open space if u fly indoors. If you fly outdoors try to not fly on windy days. This drone is SUPER light and can easily get carried away. This drone is also very fun and fast. I would recommend buying 850mah batteries 3.7v for more fun.

1st off disappointed that the one I received was obvious one that somebody sent back because the parts were in ziploc bags and not Labeled And one of the motors was melted! But call me crazy and since I am an Skilled enthusiast I bought 2 more Because I was intrigued by what I saw With the 1st one even Though It became nothing but spare parts! Assembly of the next shipment was better obviously factory packaged with everything well labeled And packaged. If you're up to the challenge assembly does Require some finance and patience....40 years experience of everything remote control is helpfu. I would say this is not for a beginner... It takes a delicate touch And preferably a nice set of hobby screwdrivers, the one that The kit comes with will work but not recommended. Be careful Routing the wire! So if you like to tinker and you know things... 2nd one took me about 45 minutes the 3rd 1I had down to a 1/2 hour and I'm sure I could beat that! After that mouthful I must say Aside from a tiny wobble here and there it is a incredible flyer very responsive And the stunt button is awesome Plus a strong 10 minutes flight time This is a tremendous amount of fun for the price. But detailed assembly knowledge would be helpful

The media could not be loaded. My youngest son was left out in his brother and mine's obession with quadcopters. I saw this in Toys 'r Us (RIP) for 40 bucks and passed. It is NOT worth that much, but for the $17 dollar price tag....for sure! My youngest is 11 and with my help had only a few issues putting it together. A few of the pieces were more difficult than I thought to get to fit right, and I wasn't very happy with the way the trim buttons on the transmitter turned out, but it works! It has altitude control, auto take off and landing, does flips etc. Another cool feature my son loved was that it came with several different decal schemes, you can mix and match, or go with the suggestions, it was super fun to customize! My son mastered it in no time, and learned a lot in the process. Again the final product is nowhere near on the level of drones that are 40 dollars and up, but for 17 bucks it's a no-brainer for parents already into the hobby that want to teach their kids! Lots of fun!

Fun and affordable! This is a great drone to learn how to fly with since it is lightweight, resilient and inexpensive. Medium difficulty to assemble. On one of the ones I bought, they forgot to oil the propeller spindle bearings at the factory and it was noisey and rough-running until I noticed. I put a tiny bit of sewing machine oil on each spindle. Also, do not overtighten the screws on the back of the controller or the power button will stick. I found that it flies much better without the blade guards, and they are mainly to protect people from the blades and not so much to protect the drone itself. Handles most crashes without damage. Be aware that the motors and gears only last so long. You may get about 10 hours of flying time before they wear out. It is somewhat of a disposable product. Nevertheless, at under $20 I highly recommend!

I was very excited to get this drone. This is my very first drone and extremely dissatisfied. The drone was great to assemble and went together with no issues. The problem is the drone will not lift off the ground and fly at all. It does not matter whether the drone is in manual or automatic mode, the drone just sits there and the blades turn, simply no lift and no flying.

I bought 3. These are >$20 kits so buy some extra patience with the money you've saved. :DAssembly: They include a budget screwdriver but having a good #00 Philips on hand will save you some frustration. screws are Very small; a well lit, clean workspace is best. Start on a rainy afternoon so you have no need to rush outdoors to fly. Read the assembly directions! All the way through! (or use the online video guide, which I couldn't) First assembly went well for me.. taking the first one apart again to treat the circuit cards with water repellent.. not so good. Two tries to get frame back together, and Six to Fourteen (depending on if you count not using screws) to get the controller reassembled. Battery holder is bigger than the supplied battery needs; might fit almost any spare battery. I expect to see a lot of these modified for FPV.Flight: Too fast for indoors, even on low sensitivity. (Ymmv..) I wish these had been my first 'copters though. Automode takeoff/land takes a lot of the frustration out of first flights.. and a lot of the panic out as well, with the both sticks down = props off, safety feature..I Will report back on how well these survive kids.. :D

Building this was quick and easy. But it will not fly!!! It does not have enough power to lift off the ground. I bought this to see how it would work hoping to upgrade to a better one later. But so much for the Sky Viper brand. If this on will not even take off, I'm not going to try another from Sky Viper.

This is drone is good for beginners and fun to build, fly. The controls work good stunt button when in up side down but is working okay. Joysticks work great auto Hoover, land auto takeoff all work just fine. Prop guards need some work they need to be screwed in instead of being snap in other than that the drone does what. You want to do I would this again. I gave a five star I would recommend this drone for beginners how staring out with drones.
