Great drinker
I tend to raise my pigeons from the age of 10-14 days old, so this is ideal for teaching them how to drink without allowing for poop getting into the water.Bowls don’t work as they get knocked over, full of seed, dust and poop, whereas these work brilliantly.I have suspended mine on the side of the large dog crate I use to raise the babies and for the first few days I gently dip the squeakers beaks until they drink and then they quickly learn how to use it and will start drinking themselves.Keeps the washer clean, easy to top up and also clean. I simply turn it into its side so I can slide the cup out from between the bars and chuck it in a bucket with disinfectant whilst I am cleaning them out, then rinse off, put back and refill. No more water bowls being upturned or someone pooping in the communal water which is loads better for ensuring they are drinking clean water. Worth the investment

Works well but bracket a little large
Worked well attached to a dog crate housing 3 growing chicks. The chicks learnt how to use it quickly and it was much easier to keep clean than a waterer on the floor. It also had the advantage of being able to raise the height of it as the chicks grew. It was easy to put together - the spigot screws on from the outside with the rubber washer between it and the outer wall of the tank (no need to put your hand into the tank as someone suggested!). 1L worked for 3 chicks up to poult stage but more chicks than this and you may need more than one as 1L is pretty small. Only complaint is the metal bracket seems to be a bit wide for the tank. This means the tank can tip sideways slightly and sit at an angle within the bracket. Not a huge deal but it doesn't work quite as well if its not level as the water doesn't flow out as easily.

It's way too small.
This may be OK for one or two bantam hens for 1 morning but totally useless otherwise.Very basic plastic constructions you really would be better just putting a bowl of water down and save a Tennant.doesnt fit to Harris fencing.

Very pleased with these as got very fed up with other waterers constantly getting dirty water.
Having tried several water drinkers for hens, I like these as I could fit them higher up on the metal mesh / run. As the drink pans are small this means less chicken kicked mess gets in, especially when inside more in winter, where there’s floor bedding etc. In fact hardly any debri gets in. Easy to clean out little pan with finger. The fresh water fills as their beaks tap the little paddles in the drinking pan. Hens seem comfortable using them. They don’t hold a lot, I only have four hens and have two waterers. Easy to top up fresh water from above, which I do each day ( it’s winter when I write this).Containers really need be empty of water to take off for a more general deep clean, as you need to unwind the drinker part to take off. Though it doesn’t get obviously dirty inside, I think wash through should be done from time to time.

Does a great job
This is perfect for my 3 chickens, it's super easy to fit and fills from the outside so really convenient, the chickens used it with no problem from day 1.

It needs a secure position so’s the cup is well clear of the ground.
If it is positioned too low the birds will mess it up. If too high they won’t reach it.The securing metal band is simple in that it’s also securing reservoir lid is prone to come off and for the entire reservoir to fall off. Thankfully the main (securing) lid has within it a separate filling lid.In order to refill the reservoir, without risking it all falling off, I advise to glue the main securing lid to the reservoir and fill it via its filling lid. That inhibits cleaning only a little. Otherwise it’s good quality kit.
