I bought this for my Great Nephews Christening. My Niece was absolutely thrilled with it.. It's a beautiful set and she is looking forward to reading it with her son when he is a bit older..

I have bought a few of these sets as Christening gifts (for toddlers and babies) and have always been a hit. The illustrations are simple, bold, bright and beautiful - really appealing to little eyes. The size of the books is also good - just right for little hands and they have sturdy enough covers not to get damaged to easily. The text is written with the very young in mind and are lovely to read aloud with your little one.The books can be bought seperatley, but this set is much better value and makes a wonderful gift.

I bought this as a Christening gift as i thought a normal bible probably wouldn't be opened. This is a wonderful book that toddlers would find interesting and with lovely illustrations. There are stories from The Old and New Testaments but in simple phrases. The bible has 398 pages and the prayer book 128. Lovely quality paper and binding. I would recommend, Nicely presented in a hard sleeve. Excellent value for money.Also the right size for little ones to hold.

A very good way to Introduce children to the Good News of Christ as found in the bible. This includes learning to pray as well as reading stories of individuals and the relationship with God. The hardcover format ideal for children to use and use over and over.

Great Bible for little ones--the Bible stories are appropriate and told in a way that toddlers can understand, and the illustrations are colorful, keeping their attention. This is a great introduction to the Bible, and I would recommend it to any parent wanting just that. The only downfall is that it doesn't include any actual quotes/verses from the Bible--the stories are simply paraphrased... As for the collection of prayers, they're adorable and extremely appropriate, with lots of different prayers to choose from. Again, they're a great tool to introduce the daily habit of talking to God, and I would recommend this collection to any parent looking to do just that.

Our 3 and a half year old loved these books. He like the illustrations and the stories. The prayers were very nice for his age.He kept asking his Dad if they could go to church and he could take his bible.
