From the images on here I was expecting a colourful hefty sized cipd resource, instead the gloss and colour ends at the front cover. This along with the small size, small text and only 300 pages left me feeling a little short changed for the money. The topics covered however are perfect for anyone who is looking into learning and development from a foundation view point as this feels more like an introduction to the topic. They were glued to the front of the book and I can't open them as a result. Not exactly what you'd expect for a book that costs in excess of £40.
