Exactly what I needed. I used these for packing clothing in my backpack for airline travel. The bag easily fits five polo shirts, six T-type shirts, four pairs of socks, four boxer shorts and a denim long sleeve collar shirt. I could put in more but chose less to just allow for a flat bag when air is vacuumed out. Once air is removed, with the load I place, the bag shrinks slightly (a good thing) and easily fits my backpack. Similarly I use these bags for jeans, four pair, and flatten them right down for travel. The contents I describe reduced from eight inches in height to about two inches. The inside room in my backpack is 12" x 20". I fold the ziplock side corners inward to accommodate the backpack curve at the top. The air seal does not break. The bag quality is excellent. I had no air lock failures at all...impressive! I loaded and unloaded several times....in a way testing whether the bags stood up and held tight for reuse. Again, no failures. Excellent product. The delivery was fast ...excellent seller! A nice benefit of the bags is that they securely stop clothing shifts inside the backpack and keep everything clean while packed. I also use these in checked luggage when needed...all the ease of packing above and a terrific benefit of fitting small to medium sized luggage perfectly and keeping clothing from shifting during the wonders of bag handling. These bags ROCK. First this is not my first time with a vac bag and these bags are easy for me to seal unlike the name brand ones. Secondly you can you do either compression to vac down or a vacuum. Both work well but Vacuum is way better than by hand. They fit great in suit case. I took what would have been 2 large suit cases of clothing in 6 bags. That was great for car trip they took up 1/4 of space the two large suit cases would have taken and I did not have to sacrifice my clothing options. Just an FYI if you vac and keep them like that for and few days they will be wrinkled but I had a clothes dryer where I went an got rid of wrinkles that way. Also I take a few empty when I travel so if I buy clothes I can still get them in my luggage to comeback home. I wish this brand came in larger size use in my home and I would get rid of the Space Garbage I have

This product worked great on a 24 day motorcycle ride that had me open and close/seal at least 10 times. They never lost the seal. The size is great for packing in medium size spaces (motorcycle side bags.) I took one star off because to use them by manually compressing them getting the cap on is difficult/fiddly.

This is my third set of these. I have a lot of vintage clothing & textiles and not a ton of space. After years of buying the name brand vacuum seal bag, and years of them not working at all, I gave this one a try. Every single bag stays compressed, in my experience. Whereas, the bag you can buy at Target or you see on TV, maybe one bag worked out of twenty five. I'm not exaggerating. I'm the dumb-dumb that kept going back and trying them again and again.I recommend this to anyone who asks me about vacuum storage bags (it does happen from time to time), so I wanted to go ahead and recommend them to the Amazon community at large.

Used these bags for month long international humanitarian trip to African continent ,,,great compression at home (USA) but electricity/vacuum cleaners not available when time to return home,,,therefore, had a lot of clothes that I could fit into the suitcase....needed some sort of portable battery powered vacuum for the return.

I really like these bags better than any others I have tried. I have purchased these bags previously,and I have never had any bags leak. The seals have held up for 6months to a year when I needed to retrieve the stored items. I was able to reuse the same bags with no problems. The name brand bags from the store have all leaked within a few months.I wish they had the option of medium and large bags this time. I could only find these small ones. I really would have bought the other sizes too.

This is a good product. It is difficult to find small space bags outside of a packaged assortment of sizes. This is my second order. The order was placed on October 6th. This was followed by several tracking messages saying the order was delayed. Finally it arrived on November 4th. It appears that the seller sent a replacement order. Good for them.
