The media could not be loaded.  I have been using it every morning. This morning was my seventh application.On the bottle at the end of the usage instructions it says to wash access oil of your hands with warm water and soap.While this is perfectly proper instructions, I would add that if after using it you have oil left on your hands then there are possibly two things wrong. One is you're simply using to much. So use less. Second the oil is not being properly absorbed into your skin and beard hair. This is not the case with Black Gold as after a minute the oil has absorbed. Which is the sign of a good quality oil.It contains Sunflower Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Moroccan Argan Oil, Clary Sage Oil, Lavender Oil.Now my sense of smell is not good and I don't entirely trust it. I've always thought this was due to my nose being badly smashed in an accident when I was young.But I would say the main scent is from the Jojoba and Lavender oils. However I detected another scent which took me a while to identify. I believe it is from the Clary Sage oil. This gives it an undernote of mint.I haven't encountered another beard oil which uses this. I won't go into the uses of Clary Sage oil. You can google it.So I've been using it daily for one week and find it an excellent oil.With regards to application the bottle top is a little narrower than most so I use four finger pads instead of three.My beard is soft, healthy and easily managed.It is a light oil and I think it is one which could also be used as a night time conditioning oil. However the stimulating scent might make it difficult to get to sleep.I have a main drawer in which I keep the beard products which I use on a regular recurring basis and this will be going into it.

This is a hard one for me because I love the product, but I'm not a huge fan of the packaging.The Luvenesco Beard Oil is wonderful. I've been using a number of different brands of beard oil for the last 10-12 months. I've found a couple I really like (including this one) and some others that I'd happily replace with regular olive oil.This stuff is very good.Firstly, it has a great fragrance, it's a musky, herby mixture, that almost smells as dark as the bottle it comes in. It's a very masculine tone.It also feels nice. I've been using it along with the beard balm from the same company and the two work very well together as you'd expect. Obviously, it's an oil but it doesn't feel too oily if that makes sense. I've tried a couple that make you feel like you've french kissed a deep fat fryer all day long. Luvenesco's oil, on the other hand, is absorbed quickly into the hair and the skin and leaves behind only a lovely gleaming hydrated beard.I do however have to come to a negative. I don't want to make a big issue out of this because I like the oil so much, but the bottle that it comes in is poor. Every single beard oil I have ever tried comes in either a glass bottle with a pipette or in a plastic bottle with a pump action top. Now although glass bottles are better for the environment and have an added feel of quality, they do make me a little twitchy when handling them over my basin, so I can't complain about the choice to use plastics. But, both the pipette and the pump action options are better for both, using the correct amount of oil, and also not spilling any. The Luvenesco Beard Oil bottle dribbles slightly, which means that the bottle then becomes harder to handle. This makes the already difficult task of trying to only get a few drops from the bottle an even more difficult task.I have now put the Luvenesco's oil into an old glass pipette topped bottle, it's a shame it didn't come like that in the first place.As I say this is a relatively small flaw, but it's one that could and should have been avoided.Other than that the products itself (the oil) is superb and worth every penny. Update the bottle and I'd give it a solid 5 stars, for now, I have to begrudgingly only give 4.

I have used the same beard oil for many years, as I have tried a few which have failed to impress me.Recently I gave the Luvanesco beard oil as try as I heard many good things about it. I am really impressed with this oil, not only does it apply very easily, but there is not any excess oil residue left over like many other beard oils!The smells is also great, not overpowering and very masculine.I have also noticed my beard seems to shape a lot better with this oil which is a double benefit!I would have preferred it to come with a dripper to extract the oil from to make life a little easier but nevertheless it's still an excellent item which I will be buying more from in the future.

Item arrived very promptly and well packaged.What attracted me to trying out the Luvenesco Black Gold was the title description. As I have relatively sensitive skin, I lean on the cautious side when applying any products to my body that are full of chemicals, so when I saw this was an ‘all natural’ beard oil, I was excited to give it a go.I have been using the oil for the past week and find that the oil absorbs into my beard and skin with relative ease - a strong indicator that only premium ingredients are used. My beard feels so much softer than previous, and I find it to be easy to comb through making it a delight to manage.Unlike most beard oils that I have come across in the past, Black Gold has a screw cap rather than a pipette. I personally prefer this as I find it easier to manage. Usually a pipette carries more oil than necessary - so another 2 thumbs up for the packaging of the product.The scent is very refreshing, yet isn’t overpowering. Overall I am very happy to give this product a five star and more than happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a quality beard oil.
