Diggin Active Dodge Tag

I bought this for my very active and well co-ordinated 5 year old grand-daughter to have fun with. At first she found it rather difficult to make the balls stick to the vests but is gradually improving. Should provide lots of active fun.

This was a dollar store product and definitely not worthy of the $50 plus price tag - also very difficult to deal with

My 6-year-old chose this for his brother’s 5th birthday gift. Here is what my 6 y/o has to say about it:“We bought it in the morning, and it came in the evening, on the same day. Super-duper fun! Balls don’t fall off easily at all. Me and my brother played it and he wants to play it like 9 times a day. We love this toy. Way worth it a lot of money! It came so quickly that we had so much time to wrap it. Hard to get balls to stick to other people, which makes it funner. When we played it the first time, the targets are pretty sticky. It’s like laser tag and laser tag is like my favorite game ever that’s not at our house. Except this game is with balls and there are no laser guns. And the vests are both good colors.”My opinion: This is a great game. My boys are obsessed. The balls are soft enough to play outside or inside, which is great for wintertime. We may invest in two more vests for Christmas so that my husband and I can join in the game!

I bought these as a Christmas present for my 7-year-old nephew. He has a 9-year-old brother, and I thought this would be a good activity for them to burn off energy together. The balls stick to the velcro pretty easily, so that's nice. Overall, I thought it was fun, but there are a couple improvements I would make.First of all, since the targets are only on the front, my nephew found out pretty quickly that he could just drop to the ground curled up in a ball and no one could get him. There needs to be a target on the back as well so that it forces them to keep moving.Secondly, my nephews are both lanky, and the younger one wanted the vest cinched tight enough that it wouldn't flop around while he ran. The actual vest part is tiny enough for a kid, but the part that's supposed to go around them is big enough for a heavy adult. We made it as small as it could go and could still ALMOST lap the velcro tie around him multiple times, but it didn't quite reach on the last time around, so we had to just velcro it like normal and then tie up the excess to keep it from dragging.Since it was still fun, I just consider these minor flaws and still think it deserves a pretty good rating.

These vests were fairly well made with adjustable straps around the neck and shoulders. The Velcro is very good and the balls stick easily. My boys played only briefly with these based on the fact that it is too difficult to hit your target in the chest as throws are easily blocked or turn a shoulder to. A larger vest that covered the back would be perfect as it would allow the ball to stick to the kids who turn their back every time a ball comes their way. Perhaps even some shoulder panel or sleeves with Velcro would make it better.Overall the craftsmanship is better than I would have expected although one ball did split at the seam. This occurred after the boys abandoned the vests and took to throwing the balls at each others' heads.

great for small kids but the vests are very small and not suitable for kids polder than about 7 years old (max)....because of their design, the vests also get stuff on the sticky pads that are for the balls to stick to, so after a while become ineffective :(If you can keep the vests in a clean/lint-free environment and the kids don't roll all over the floor in them, this set can be a lot of fun to play with

This toy looked great in theory but it was junk. The bibs rolled up and never stayed flat. They were flimsy and cheap. The balls did not stay stuck to the vests. The toy laid around untouched and was given away two years later. Complete waste.

I bought 5 sets for my grandson’s. They immediately put on targets with one of the parents and it was blue team against the green team. They had so much fun. Dodge Tag was a hit. Highly recommended. The boys along with their parents work off a lot of energy. (It would have been nice if targets were on the back as well, but never-the-less they all had a great time). Balls are soft and don’t hurt.

I purchased this set for my five-year-old nephew. He is an only child but has lots of neighborhood friends, so I figured he would get use out of this game. When he opened it, we were pleased to see that his dad could don one of the vests, and play along with him. The balls do stick to the Velcro easily, making this game rewarding to play. He liked it very much.

My nephew and niece were coming to stay with us for Spring Break so I bought these beforehand based on what seemed like good reviews. We would have two 7 year olds and two 9 year olds, I was just looking for active options to get them moving and to give them something to do together.First off, the target is so tiny. We had gone to a nearby park and even just having the kids stand still to see if the balls would stick, no one could hit it enough on the target to get the balls to stick. Secondly, the balls wouldn't stick when thrown so you couldn't tell if anyone was actually hitting the target. Bummer, I had bought two sets so we would have enough for all four kids. I sent them off to play and they came back after five minutes. A few days later when I asked if they wanted to play or keep them, they all shrugged. I threw them in the donate pile.But as I came on to write a review, I saw that the price has DOUBLED. I ordered this for half the price 26 days ago, before the current pandemic really got going. Seems as they're taking advantage of everyone being stuck indoors during this pandemic and are looking to make extra money off of parents looking for entertainment for their kids.

When I first ordered this game, I was disappointed because it never arrived. Amazon's excellent customer service immediately shipped a replacement - I could not have been happier with their help. Of all the gifts this Xmas, THIS has been my son's favorite. We have spent hours upon hours playing different variations of this game (that we invented). Yes, even I have worn the vest and have had so much fun playing. One thing my son likes to do is wear a vest on the front AND the back at the same time. That way, one person becomes the entire target while another person is the attacker. This is a great gift for kids his age because it keeps them moving and laughing. I read some reviews about the balls not sticking too well, and my response is that they WON'T stick every single time. After all, they are only velcro and are only meant to be toys. With that being said, we have not been even slightly disappointed with this product. While we were visiting family during the holidays, it was much too cold to play outside, and I don't like letting my kid watch hours of tv. This dodge tag game was great for getting him away from the tv, and it was even great for getting his 80yr old greatgrandparents to play a physical game with him. We have enjoyed this gift so much that I even bought a second one for his friend. For anyone who has a sewing machine, it is also quite easy to make more balls. I plan to make more balls as well as a field accessories...shields, hats, etc.
