The WAH Nails Book of Nail Art: Featuring 25 cool nail art projects to do at home

I recently bought this product and was umming and arring for a couple of weeks before I finally did but to cut a long story short, I'm glad I did. The cover is really 'cool' and looks great on a bookshelf so that's always a bonus, right? Anyway, I need to stop rambling! This book gives you some information on the owner of WAH nails- info on her life, ideas and friends etc which is a really nice touch to the book. The step by step instructions are very clear, informative and helpful. Sometimes when I start a nail design I don't quite know where to start, the squiggle or the lines or the colour- you get my drift. However, this book shows you were to start and finish to give you the best final look. The pictures included are great and although I would have preferred more nail art designs to be included, this book does cover all of the basics, gave me new ideas for designs and was an enjoyable read and for that I think it's worth the money. Plus, it comes with a free sheet of stickers! You can't go wrong!! hahaThere is only one bad point about this book and that is that I'm now going to be bankrupt as I can't stop buying more nails colours, tools and nail pens to create new designs!! RIP savings.

I bought this book about a year ago, so I've had time to try out many of the designs and just to say I am very please with this book. It's unique, artistic and very easy to understand the tutorials. There are many tips in here which have improved the state of my nails as well making them look amazing, I get many complements on them when I go out. People always ask "where did you get your nails done?" and I love it when I reply to them "I did them myself". I am really pleased with all the designs, they are all very different from leopard prints, to aztec and metal studs to pop art.This book would make an excellent gift to someone especially young girls.

I bought this book for my neice for christmas, but I think I'll be buying one for myself. I love nail art, but like another reviewer said I sometimes don't know where to begin with a design. This has step by step instructions on how to create amazing nail art designs and what tools/polishes you will need to purchase etc. This isn't your bog standard 'flowers and hearts' nail art but those of you that are aware of WAH will know this. The book itself is very visually appealing, I keep finding myself flicking through it.

This book is more for inspiration than a true "how to" guide. It looks nice, and has a nice layout, and it is a hardback book, so will be able to take a bit of punishment when in use. However, there isn't as much instruction given as I have seen in other nail art books. Also, there isn't any step by step pictures, just illustrations and an end result. There are steps on how to achieve the desired effect on each page, but I am a very visual person, so being able to see examples really helps me to be able to follow something better. In saying that though, the majority of the designs are fairly simple, so should be easy enough to follow for anyone who is used to doing their own nails/ nail art. If you are a complete novice at nails, perhaps try watching some tutorials before attempting anything in this book.

I have bought all the Wah Wah nail books as I LOVE her nails and ideas.Sadly however they are mostly rehashes of the other books with a couple of additional designs thrown in.I should have saved my money and just bought one edition.

I love love love this book, so many great ideas and designs for nail art plus a background of the staff and the company which is really interesting. There's loads of handy nail tips and cool little interviews with DJs, stylists, artists and more from London with similar styles and backgrounds or who are associates of Wah Nails. Very fun book, even has stickers at the back, bonus! Haha

As a fan of nail art, as soon as I heard that WAH were releasing a book, I just had to pre-order it. Not disappointed at all - each tutorial as very easy to follow, and it's full of wonderful ideas. Such a gorgeous book - a must buy if you love nail art!

You need to already be pretty confident with painting nails as the examples are quite difficult. Lovely ideas though.

Cute as a present

I bought this book for my 13 year old daughter. She loved it immediately. The book offers some simple and some complex designs, but they're all absolutely cute! There were even a few designs I liked for myself. I wish there were more design in the book though (its a book with stories, pictures, and wild photos to entertain readers), but it was still worth every penny. I'm a fan of WAH nails now.

Un ouvrage à la fois très beau et très bien fait. Même si les explications sont en anglais, les illustrations sont facile à comprendre et a mettre en oeuvre. Les photos mettent parfaitement en valeur les différentes décorations. A ce sujet, il y en a pour tous les goûts : camouflage, léopard, berlingot, rayures ou simples pois ... A mettre dans toutes les mains des accros aux vernis !

Nail art has been around for as long as I have been getting my nails done (we're talking 18 years here) and longer. However nail art has evolved from the mostly airbrushed and abstract work that I was getting at 13 years old. I became a nail artist myself in my 20s and I love this book. WAH nails are right up there with my Top 5 mentors in the nail industry.
