Some are designed to withstand weather, solvent based. Some are designed to rub off with ease. We use Rainbow Chalk Markers, they are the largest UK manufacturer, they sell both types and they also sell cleaning fluid. They sell the coatings for the board also so if you want a perfect black finish again - this is the best way to go. It dries in minutes in summer. Most pubs and restaurants use them. **Q: Does this A frame chalk board come ready made, or does it need assembling** A: It comes assembled and ready to use.
