LUXA Silk Flame Firelight

Wanted to create an open fire look without the mess of coal. Brought 3 and surrounded them with coal and weaved fairy lights through the coals. I have set the lights at different angles so that the ribbons are not so uniformed. I think 3 ribbons would work better than the current 2 ribbons on each light. That said I am overall happy with them.

Seems quite expensive for what it is however it's much more realistic that the cheaper flames I've seen. I have a firepit table under a covered gazebo on wooden decking. So decided to try a safe faux flame, no heat, no smell or smoke instead of the real thing. Its really effective creating a cozy effect with visitors assuming it's real. The fan is almost silent, it sounds like the gas pilot light on a cooker. Overall very pleased, took 1 star off because it's quite expensive.

Wasn't sure what to expect but am very pleased with the effect. I have a wood burner that can't be used at the moment and have now popped this Firelight into the grate with some logs artfully placed around it. With the doors slightly ajar the Firelight gives off a lovely warm glow and the "chiffon type" material cut like flames flutters just like a real fire would. Although there is no heat coming from the fire this gadget creates a warm looking glow to liven up what was a dead, dark spot in the lounge. I would buy again.

Wonderful lamp, however it came with no instructions and no details of Luxa on the box so as this was a gift I had to tell my friend about Luxa, spare bulbs and flames and how to order them.

Quiet pleased with this purchase. An empty, unused fireplace has been bought back to life with this light and brought warmth to the room. Only downside is that it is a little smaller than we would have liked.

Absolutely great little light for my very small stove. Would have got 5 but it is rather expensive.
