Would recommend!
Despite this book being based around colour theory, the majority of the book relies on the text. However the theory behind it is very interesting! Perfect for my dissertation thank you.

Colour and Culture was more detailed. This later version is abbreviated and has some more up to date info from neuroscience. I prefer the original.

A very tiresome book
Sometimes even the most dedicated reader might encounter a book that's difficult to get through. In my case I purchased several books about the colour theory because I'm a teacher and at that time I was preparing a lesson on the subject. "Colour and meaning" was the worst book of all because it makes it very hard to stay motivated and read on. The author certainly knows a lot about colour, but he fails to organise such a huge i amount of information into manageable chunks. I also think that the description of the book was somehow misleading, it said that John Cage's book is unmissable for any artist. There are very few practical notions here that might help a working artist A

For a book that talks about color, very little color.
Most all images included are in black and white. How can anyone appreciate the reason for the image seen in neutral tones when the subject is about color? There is no life in this collection of words!
