I have one "out" connected to a 10m optical lead but no sound (the lead is fine). How do I solve?** A: I tried out this by splitting optical 'out' on my Cd player to 2 separate DACS. I could only get sound on one Dac. Both leads were only a metre long. Tried individually, no problem sound on each single optical. Cant figure, I'm afraid, why splitter claims it will carry 2 signals. If u get a solution, please post. There may be some loss over 10metres however.Karl. **Q: One device uses an optical plug c/w plastic outer, the other a metal outer. Only plastic one works - is there a solution? Without replacing metal one?** A: It should not matter I have both plastic and metal plugged in to the one I have and it works fine sounds more like a faulty cable. **Q: Can it split output to use soundbar and for me tv headphones at same time as i can't hear well and need tv louder than suits husband** A: I don't know about that mate the one which I received was faulty I needed it to go from TV to sound bar and surround sound system I had to get something different **Q: Will it work on 2 headphones connect to the tv** A: I don't see why not if you put 2 separate fiber optic cables in. Hope it helps. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/49139727-1-in-2-out-digital-toslink-fiber-audio-optical-splitter](https://www.desertcart.be/products/49139727-1-in-2-out-digital-toslink-fiber-audio-optical-splitter) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
