Wonderful modern & unique Tarot deck
I have a lot of Tarot decks & these are by far the best made. Very thick rigid card with a classy silver side finish which requires a classic hand shuffle as bending them is difficult - which is a good thing. Designed by four women artists they have a very feminine feel, however some of the masculine figures have surprisingly powerful male imagery. The fact each artist took a suit each to design adds another dimension to the cards adding to there uniqueness & depth often with a very subtle finesse. The designs are a modern take on Tarot cards with a fantasy, nature & animistic themes which often have very potent imagery, sometimes quirky, sometimes amusing with different animals as a background to each figure. They come in a well made box with booklet which has coloured pictures of each card & very clear interpretations which I found very appropriate representations. Even going through them had a strong message for me which the first reading directly backed up so I've already developed an affinity with them. Although officially named after the vernal equinox I think the rather forgotten goddess of the same name gives her blessing to them, especially as the tag line suggests the intriguing dichotomy of nature bursting forth to wake the city. A unique must have deck for any Tarot enthusiast.

So glad I finally got this...
I've eyeballed this deck for a loong time.. like a few others I've bought around and not actually but the bullet with. This is now firmly amongst my favourite decks. There was issues getting the cards apart as the guild had wedged them fast but I manage to do it without any damage. It's a lovely deck. Shuffles and reads well and I also like the book and what they have to say about it also.. would recommend at this price it's a steal.

Amazing deck
The card stock is of great great quality, however keep in mind that the cards stick together in the begininning. I used a very careful bend and snap approach to help them come loose. Once that was done, I could see the cards in all their beautiful splendor. As other users have noted, the cards were created by a group of 4 artists, and while you can see the different styles, they blend so well together and it doesn't make it difficult to read them at all.Probably on the way of this becoming my favourite deck. :)

Incredible artwork...quick to show wear and tear
The Ostara tarot was my first tarot deck, and I couldn't have asked for anything more from the visual interpretations of the cards. These four women have come together to create a deck that is rich, vibrant and packed with detail without having that New Age/fantasy fiction vibe many such modern tarot and oracle decks lean towards. Each artist has her own distinct style, and while this occasionally becomes a little jarring when comparing cards you might wish would reflect each other (for instance, The Emperor is drawn in a much more muted and realistic style than the bright, stylised Empress) in most places the cards flow seamlessly together, their scenes appearing to exit in the same mystical world.I simply cannot overstate how stunning these cards are. I haven't found a single deck I've connected to in the same way. So much craft has gone into each and every image, and they are perfect for intuitive readings as well. Friends of mine who've never seen tarot before have been able to co-create their readings based on the images alone. They also make wonderful writing prompts, which is one of the primary reasons I began using tarot. The deck was inspired by the Spring Equinox, but for me it has shades of all the seasons, heavily woven through with natural and feminine imagery.Sadly, I do have one complaint, and that is the card stock. The cards have a glossy finish which makes them quite slippery to shuffle, but I didn't actually mind this and found them pleasant to handle. Unfortunately however, within only a few uses, I noticed obvious, dull dents in the silver edging, and small white nicks in the image fronts of the cards. This was a big surprise, as I had handled them very carefully in my inexperience, and I was quite heartbroken that these pictures I had fallen in love with so quickly were already wearing away.As a result, I've had to buy a couple of sturdier, less inspiring, decks (at least in my eyes) to use on a daily basis so that I can spare these cards the wear and tear of regular use. This deck is now reserved for very special readings only.Overall, I absolutely recommend this deck to anyone who feels drawn to the art style in the way I did. Taste is of course subjective, and we should all choose the decks which speak to us, but for me, this is the best out there. However, make sure you have something a little sturdier to hand for your everyday use, and reserve these for slightly more special occasions.

Ostara Tarot.
Been waiting for this set to come back in stock for ages and I'm pleased to say it doesn't disappoint. Packaging is robust and nicely done. The accompanying book is in colour and has pictures of each card and a short description on the page. The cards themselves are wonderfully illustrated and have a silver gilding on the edge. Care needs to be taken when separating the cards intially as they do stick a little and deposit quite a bit of silver over your hands the first time you use them but after that there is no more mess. A beautiful deck that the four artists who contributed towards should feel very proud of. A definite recommendation from me!

Beautiful, good quality cards
I ordered these as a second deck when I couldn’t decide between two however, I was immediately drawn to them on arrival and have barely looked at the others! They are beautiful, good quality cards with amazing energy and very accurate too. I would definitely recommend these even to beginners which I am as they are just so lovely to work with

Ostara Tarot.
The Ostara Tarot is one of the only collaborative decks I find sufficiently cohesive to read. The 4 artists and their art work melds beautifully and never detracts from the reading.

5 stars to the artists, 0 to the printers
It is such a shame that such a beautifully designed deck of tarot cards can be printed and cut so badly by the manufacturers. Half of my cards were curved and the corners were bent back and worn. It appears that the corners are all different sizes as the cards do not align straight, this ruins what is otherwise a very beautiful deck, it is a real shame.
