There's one option that comes w/ a clear bag and looks more muted than the other option.** A: They are a little brighter in color than the picture on Amazon. I was very pleased with them when I received them. Also just got back from my trip and they worked out great. Lots of space and the zippers held up well. **Q: This may be a silly question, but can the compression cubes be safely washed in the washing machine on a gentle cycle in cold water?** A: Yes they can- we wash them separate from other clothes though. Please hang dry- they should be dry in less than an hour. Do NOT put them in a dryer- they have a special coating that does not do well with extreme heat .
