After some research I realised it's easier just to make a new one, as her bequests were straightforward. Over a period of months I contacted several forms of solicitors, of which one said they did house calls (my aunt is house bound) but the firm that did do them 'wasn't doing them at the moment'. Through the Law Society's 'find a solicitor' service, I contacted eight firms, none of whom replied - is that system even working? Bear in mind I was perfectly willing to pay the costs of a home visit. Long story short, I gave up, bought this, and had a new will drawn up in a day. Caveat: my aunt is still alive so we'll have to see how probate works out! But it's given her great peace of mind so it's worth it for that alone.
