The ALM CH012 Grass and Hedge Trimmer safety kit comprises of ear defenders, metal mesh face shield (guard) and one pair of non slip gloves. Review: Excellent product - This is a proper work kit not just a cheap toy. I have previously used a Stihl combination helmet, visor and earmuffs, which while very well made, never really fitted without wanting to fall off. This kit is well made and fits very comfortable with a turn adjust at the back of the head. I have used it for about 5 hours strimming now and am very happy with it. The only down side is that the you cannot leave the head piece on and just lift the ear muffs. If someone wants to talk to you you have to take the whole visor and headpiece off. I did not find this a real problem though. Would recommend this. Good value for money and most importantly, fit for purpose. Didn't buy for the gloves, but they also are a good quality well fitting glove.

Sound suppression is extremely good (even drowns out the Mrs so bonus points there) You shouldn't scrimp on PPE and buy cheap but for my very occasional use I didnt want to spend a fortune. This is way better quality than I expected and it's a no brainer. Good price for a good product. Would definitely recommend.

This is a proper work kit not just a cheap toy. I have previously used a Stihl combination helmet, visor and earmuffs, which while very well made, never really fitted without wanting to fall off. This kit is well made and fits very comfortable with a turn adjust at the back of the head. I have used it for about 5 hours strimming now and am very happy with it.
