This is a very good balm. The hold, to me, is very light. It’s closer to a beard butter then a balm to me. I don’t want to take anything away from it though. Super smooth and easy to work with. My only negative is the vanilla scent isn’t quite strong enough, it’s there but it’s faint compared to the oil version of this balm. If it would of had more a that scent it’s an easy 5 stars. C’mon Bearded Bastard get me a vanilla bomb!

Great product. If I made my own beard balm, it would have a lot of the same ingredients. It's like they read my mind! It keeps your beard healthy, looking sharp, under control and smelling oh so nice. The lovely aroma wafting to my nostrils thru-out the day inspires a distinct soothing feeling. The Vanilla and beeswax blend is just what I was looking for.Thanks you Bastands!

Smells like playdough.. Yuk!Very disappointed in the scent.....Due to the smell we will not be using this product it makes me sick to my stomach, waist of my mobey unfortunately..

Does it's job better than most, just wish it smelled a little better (more vanilla less "waxy?" smell)

There aren't many Vanilla Scents in the Beard game. This is one of the very few. It's really good. Has a medium consistency and smells great. Works great in my Beard. Makes it soft and helps keep everything in place. Bottom line I will buy it again when it's gone 😎👍

Doesn’t smell as vanilla as I wanted it to but still good and the wood packaging on the tin is really cool

What an amazing product! Makes your beard smell amazing and makes it nice and soft while giving it a good hold. By far my favorite brand. Definitely recommend trying it. Customer service is top notch. Stay bearded stay bastard!

It's the second item I buy from the Bearded Bastard and it's also a second disappointment. Somehow, the odor reminds me of a vanilla scented candle and not your typical vanilla balm/oil from other brands. Also, as the night went by, I woke up with my beard smelling like old coin money. (Cennes noires canadiennes). I'm never buying from the Bearded Bastard again. I just wish that I could get my 30$ back. I was so looking forward to this balm......
