The lost art of how to draw fantasy females

I've hardly drawn any figures and the instructions are easy to follow.the only challenge I have is that the author does not explain the first step. how to break the figure up into the shapes which the drawing is then re-constructed from. I'm having to figure it out for myself (no pun intended!)

Bought for my partner who absolutely loves it

I'm not interested in 'being an artist', but I am interested in being able to draw people in different poses.And that's what this book does. It may not be the best art work out there, but for showing beginners how to structure a picture of a human body so that it actually looks like a human body, it does exactly what I asked of it.If at a later date I decide I do want to learn more, I can at least take what I've learned here forward, rather than starting from scratch.

This book is ok, but not for me. The female characters are all the same throughout the book. They all have big breasts and tiny waist. Only fantasy about them are costume's elements and accessories. I would not buy again from this writer.

Very meager! Was expecting an interesting book with detailed quides on drawing the female form, instead got what I can only describe as a primary school level piece of writing with very novice pictures. Disappointing. Anyone wanting a detailed book on how to draw stay away from this, also if you're after a book with good example images of the fantasy female form then also stay away as there are very few images and certainly none that would be worth your time or effort.

Beautiful, inspirational sketches. Good value for money. I felt that it was missing a section on anthros or female fantasy beasts but all in all a must for any artist's reference library
