Great introduction to pronunciation
Great enjoyment even for the adult story-teller to decide how to best pronounce the various 'Q' sounds.Even my 9 year old grandson enjoyed reading it to his younger brother.

My 5 year old son and I love this book
My 5 year old son and I love this book. My son is learning to read, and this is such a great concept - Quentin has lost his "A", so can only say "quck". He asks other animals if they can give him an "A". Hilarious read, my son was giggling throughout the book - the first time we read it, we had to read it 3 times! It is also great that my son likes to read it himself.

Lovely little book for a pre-schooler
Lovely little book for a 4 year old. Fun to read for the adult. Would also be excellent for a 5 year old to read on his own.

Fun book - ideal for reading with 5 year-old
I read this book with my 5 year-old granddaughter and we both loved it. The story is fun and also clever in the way it shows what happens when a vowel is missing, or changed, in a word.

Household favourite
Our new fave bedtime book. Clever, funny and brilliant. Ours are nearly 2 and 4 years old so we thought it might be a bit over their heads what with all the spelling jokes, but they absolutely love it
