Molutrex Molluscum Treatment 3ml

After several weeks (months?) of following the "wait for it to pass" advice, we finally decided to give this a go and we never looked back! This stuff really does work - if you follow the instructions carefully. Yes, it does sting. I ended up applying it at night (when child is asleep), 10 min after applying a commercially available local anaesthetic lidocaine spray to numb the skin. Easy, no complaints, no crying.

After over a year of dealing with my son's molluscum this is the product that finally worked. It does sting a bit going on but quickly subsides and is very effective. Would definitely recommend.

I have had eczema all my life, i am an adult now but leaves me susceptible to things such as this still because of broken skin as usually you’d see these in a child. I had this for just over a year and used this all the time burnt my skin didn’t really help at all but this could be due to it being harder to clear up if you have eczema , I tried a range of things which of none worked and this was also really bad for eczema if you had it in the same area. Only thing that worked for me was a really strong eczema steroid I was prescribed many years ago however I would not recommend this and it’s only because it just so happened to work as steroid creams are really bad for your skin and thinning it. I do believe it would have cleared up eventually. But don’t want your money on this!

I've had molluscum contagiosum for around 5 months and was told by my Dr that they would eventually go away but could last up to 4 years. Wanting to have them removed quicker i tried various methods such as Apple Cider Vinegar solution, Aloe Vera and Molludab. All 3 methods (using ACV first, then the Aloe vera, then Molludab) showed no sign of improvements. Frustrated i tried Molutrex and it worked. It took about 3 weeks for my Mollucscum Contagiosum to show signs of improvement and reduce in size and now into the 5th week they're barely noticable, resembling a tiny bump. I've not given this a 5 star rating as the solution is quite strong and does sting when placed onto the MC and has left a little bit of scarring due to the solution burning effect (not a problem for me but something to be aware of). I would buy again as this is the only product that i have used that worked.

Back in December, I took my 7 year old year old to the gp to complain about a lesion that had appeared on her skin and wasn’t getting any better after a few weeks. The gp then attempted to cauterise it but he had a suspicion that this might not work. He said it was likely that this was Molluscum contagiosum (but at its early stage). He also informed us that it was likely it would grow bigger in the next couple of weeks and spread all over the body including the face. He informed us it was a harmless virus likely to last for up to 2 years. However he could offer no treatment. All we should do is wait for it to for it disappear on its own within 2 years. The cautisation didn’t work and the lesion got bigger and began to spread. By mid-March, I began to panic at the rate at which it was spreading. I decided to check for something online before it got to the face or anywhere else not covered by clothing. I came across Molutrex. Boy, am I glad I did! It’s easy to apply with the brush it comes with and it also comes with another applicator for applying to tiny molluscum. If you are not a fan of reading instructions, the compa y has an online video (you tube) instruction I stumbled across showing how to apply it. It does sting for a min or so after each application. I stopped applying after a few days of use as instructed even though I wasn’t sure it had worked- but I can confirm it did. This product is well worth it because I can confirm that most of the molluscum are gone. The big one’s def gone now. It did leave some scarring but I expect those to clear in time. I’m so thrilled I had to leave a long review. I have applied again today on some tiny new lesions appearing but they are not many and I expect these not to leave any scars once they are gone. I’m very pleased with this product.

Seems like it was starting to work, but my toddler found it really painful—even after just a couple of uses. Had to stop using it. Might be better suited for older kids or adults who can handle the sting. Wouldn’t recommend for little ones.

WOW! My daughter has had molluscum for over two years now the docs said it would go away by itself. We have been back and forth a few times as it started to spread, go red and angry but they said it was coming to an end as that’s what it does before it disappears. 6 months after that appointment we were still waiting for it to go but nothing still spreading. They advised me there was nothing to do but wait. She became very self conscious so I was looking for anything that could help and I found this I was sceptical but thought it was worth a try. It has been a game changer for us making them go red and they have started to disappear. When a new one pops up I’ve been treating it and now 3/4 have gone. She does say it stings but she is now used to it. We only apply it once a day a little goes a long way. I just wish that the doctors told me about this type of treatment sooner.

My 11 year old daughter had developed these unsightly horrible mollesciums all over both her inner thighs. She was so self conscious and so I took her to our doctor who basically said there was no treatment for them and they would go away on their own. After finding out they could take years to disappear I searched for help online and at first came across Molludab which was just a waste of money in my opinion. Mollutrex is so much better and much easier to apply as it comes with a little brush (almost like a nail varnish brush) If your child is sensitive and worried about things stinging then be prepared as it really stung like hell when we first started using it. There were lots of tears but I was reassuring to my daughter and she put up with it as she knew it would help (the stinging lasts a minute or so then eases off quickly) . We started off putting the solution on every night before bed. The spots go very red after just one or two applications. I think it basically burns the blister a little to pop it and this is what starts the healing process. After a few days the spots start to scab up but we still continued to apply the solution and then we eased off and applied it when we thought it was needed (usually every 2nd or 3rd day with a break inbetween). It is not a miracle cure and it really does take perseverance and constant applications and you will sometimes think it’s a losing battle as new spots crop up inbetween applications but we stuck with it and sometimes increased the application to twice a day. Because my daughter had so many spots and they all went so red and scabby her legs looked really awful after a few weeks and I was so worried I had damaged her skin but all of a sudden one day after about 6 weeks we noticed we were getting the better of the nasty little things and they really started to clear. The spots do leave red scars behind but these are slowly starting to clear too. We have just a couple of spots now that we are still treating. It’s been hard work but I really am glad I found this treatment as I honestly think the horrible things would have spread all over her legs if we hadn’t got to grips with them. If your child has them and can put up with the stinging then use this product as it really works!

I loved this, when nothing else worked, it killed the spots in a couple of applications. Be careful to apply it very delicately only on the affected spot! It burns otherwise

Ho acquistato il Molutrex Frasco Aplicador da 3 ml e, nonostante la mia costanza nell’applicazione, il prodotto non ha funzionato come speravo. Ho avuto difficoltà con l’applicazione, e il dispenser non sembra molto efficace; spesso ho riscontrato perdite e una distribuzione irregolare del liquido. Inoltre, le istruzioni non sono state di grande aiuto e non ho notato miglioramenti significativi nonostante il mio impegno. In sintesi, il frasco aplicador Molutrex non ha raggiunto le mie aspettative e non lo consiglio a chi cerca risultati affidabili.
