I Will never have to purchase another Candle ... this is big enough to make about 7 candles in a mold ... I love it

I have been using this for about 4/5 months now and all I can say is AMAZING! I use this for my candle making and it keeps the wax at the perfect temperature/ easy to clean/ and so easy to move around and not a huge piece of equipment that I can hardly slide across a table. The spout that the wax comes out of is well made and definitely a blessing when it comes to pouring hot wax! The attachment works great also! You receiving instructions and tips of how to use the product! The cosmetics of the team are smooth sleek and modern! I absolutely love it!

I’m a beginner, but even a newbie can tell when they’ve bought a dud. Once I assembled the thing, I then realized a few very significant things:1) the bottom of the spigot is even lower than the one in the photo, at just 1/2” above my tabletop. SO, be prepared to either have the spigot sticking out perilously over the edge of your table, or constructing a tall, secure mount to perilously set this entire thing on, in order to put a mold under the spigot to pour wax! (Who wants to deal with either option?!?)2) I bought this so I wouldn’t have to deal with a clumsy confectioners thermometer, and constantly worry about the wax temperature in an otherwise relaxing hobby. First thing I see out of the box is that the thermometer dial goes up to 400°!3) Its at that point that I realize that this thing is simply a “Presto” heated potato boiler, with a spigot threaded into the bottom and a “Bare” sticker slapped onto the front of it! (And isn’t Presto a bit of an off brand anyway?) I’m returning this without even plugging it in. I now see that there are ACTUAL WAX MELTERS on Amazon that were specifically engineered and designed for worry-free melting of 5-6 different wax types, with digital temperature displays on the front, so there’s no need for independent thermometers, and a spigot elevated high enough above the table that you can actually fill molds under it. Live and learn!

I love it my candle making went to the next level buying a second one

My husband modified a presto pot for me when I started my candle business. We had an unrelated fire, and I just wanted to get one already made, since we lost all the tools to make one also.The differences are the handle, and spout... that could be improved. It's OK, but if you turn it all the way on, it comes out towards the back of the spout, so make sure you have your pitcher back a bit.It is a little tight to turn, but we screwed screws up through the feet of it to hold it in place. It's up on an elevated stand so it doesn't need to be moved.The second thing I'd like to suggest is adding Weld putty to the inside and outside, where the spout is.That being said, it works fine, it's larger than the last one I had, so I like that.If you use wax with a melt point lower than 200, you might want to keep a close eye on the temperature.

Although this pot is smaller than the one I had before, it works great. It does not smell while warming the wax.
