This is a great design for a voice recorder. It’s disquised as an MP3 clip. Unless you know what you are doing, there isn’t a way to listen to recordings.I added our own music to the MP3 part of this clip, Incase the clip is discovered.The clip has a combination of possibilities for recording. One is voice/noise activated and the other is constant recording.It records clear, and from a distance away, as well as through jacket pocket.I really like those features.The negative: no volume control, unless using a computer to listen. The volume up and down button change songs while in MP3 mode, and change recording that are on the device.My advice is to listen on computer or with over the ears headphones. My first experience of listening resulted in hurting my ears. I had in the ear earbuds, and it amplifies each bump and noise.The other negative thing is that if you are listening, and have to stop for any reason, there is no “pause” button. You must begin again. So, back to my original suggestion, use a computer to listen.If you choose to add music to really utilize the MP3 feature, still no volume control.I rated 4 star, because it works awesome, it’s small, it’s perfect for my needs, and unless you know how to operate it, recordings stay hidden.I’d add the last star if there were truly a volume control and a pause button.I highly recommend this product.

Easy to use and awesome clarity. I can keep in on my keychain and hit record and no one will know. It's a great tool to keep yourself safe or to keep a "paper trail" if you need proof of anything.

This shows new recordings but only plays the same annoying song that was on it when it arrived. I don't get a corrupt file message as some other people have but no matter how many times I delete the song, it comes back as my newest recording. Very disappointed!

Good sound for price. I wish it was smaller but it's better than the smaller one in the photo for comparison. There cannot be much in the way (especially fabric) otherwise recording will be muffled. The only issue I encountered is one incident of unreliability. Once I recorded for four hours, turned it off, and then turned it back on. When I turned it back and when I plugged it into my computer to see/listen to the files the second file was not there. Apparently it did not record despite the light I saw. Also the "instant playback" has not worked for me. I only plays files where the two test music files are located. The files you record are in a separate file and not accessible to listen to until you're at your computer which is annoying. You can put music files there and listen to them later though I guess. I wanted a recorder though not a music device so that's not a huge disappointment to me but it may be for others!

My husband bought this for meas something I could use for remembering things while I'm out and about and there is no pen handy because I often forget things so he thought by the description of this product it could work to serve as a voice recorder reminder tool 4 things I need while out and about and the fact that it Clips right onto my keys as a keychain makes it super convenient therefore I would use it any and every time I needed to remind myself something.Ive can using it for a little over 2 weeks and so far I've used it at least three to four times a week for just random reminders to myself or four items that I needed to remember to pick up and people that I needed to call I when you're not expecting there to be so much space available for storing on it so I was very pleasantly surprised to realize there was much more room then I ever imagined when I first received this from my husband my husband is also liking it because I'm able to remember I need to pick up while I'm out therefore not needing him to grab this and that on his way home from work during the weekdaysI'm excited to see how this continues to work and if it will continue to be a beneficial device for helping with my daily tasks chores or reminders... IWill update this review if anything significantly changes over the next month or so however as of now im very happy with it and think it's a awesome concept and idea and super convenient!!😉😘

I think I may have gotten a bad one or used one. There is music on it I can not delete and when I try to access the recordings It says the file/folder is corrupted. I have never been able to get this issue fixed. I do not recommend this product.

This item became extremely hot while charging, to the point that I was concerned it may be a safety hazard. Would not recommend and I have replaced with a similar item from another seller.

Tested this a few times before using it for something important. Seemed to work fine, but the time that I really needed it to work it failed. The battery was fully charged. I was very careful to make sure the power was on and the red light flashed. This was not a user error. Tried to download the recording later and that specific file was not there. I don't know what happened, but this recorder is totally unreliable. Very disappointed. Returning.
